We wrapped up practice today with a little kids vs. adults kickball game and a whole lot of laughs! It was the perfect way to celebrate our 5 summer birthday boys! 🥳 And let me tell you… the competition was STEEP! 😂 Our parents definitely came ready to play, and the kids weren’t about to let them off easy! We are so lucky to have a group of parents who are so involved, supportive, and always willing to jump in and make these moments special. Happy Birthdays to our Summer Birthday Kingdom dudes! 🎂

Behind every great team is an incredible group of parents 💯

A massive thank you to our Kingdom Grounds Crew for stepping up after a tough practice in the North Carolina heat. Removing those weeds made a huge difference in our infield, making sure our 9U boys have a safe, clean field to play on.

It takes a village, and ours is top-tier. Thank you for all your hard work! ⚾️

What an absolute blast of an evening for the Kingdom Baseball family! A massive thank you to the Wake Forest FUNGO for hosting our boys tonight and making them feel like true big-leaguers.

Our players had the incredible opportunity to stand on the field, play catch with college athletes, and even show off their speed (and balance!) in a hilarious bat spin race.

We wrapped up the night celebrating the end of a fantastic season with some well-deserved awards and delicious cupcakes.

We couldn’t be prouder of how hard these boys worked all season long, and tonight was the perfect, fun-filled family outing to celebrate them. Thank you again to the Fungo organization for having us out and giving our Kingdom Baseball crew a night they won't soon forget! 🙌👑⚾️

⚾️ What a Finish, Kingdom Baseball! ⚾️

Heading into this final stretch, we made a choice: we chose to challenge them to step up to the next level. They proved without a shadow of a doubt that they can compete with absolutely anyone.

Making it to the championship game in any tournament is a massive victory in and of itself. But doing it while debuting brand new skills—skills they’ve never put to the test before—against a team that has been running those same plays for a long time? That is beyond impressive.

Sure, there were some frustrations and a few tears along the way, but that is exactly what growth looks like. Yesterday was an absolutely amazing day of baseball.

Hold those gold rings high, boys—you earned every single bit of them! 💍🔥

NEW CHAPTER, SAME GOAL: KID PITCH IS HERE! ⚾️⚡️

The Kingdom Boys are heading into Pool Play tomorrow for the last time as an 8U team; and this marks a huge milestone for the squad because it’s our very first time playing kid pitch! We need the energy loud and proud for this one.

Here’s the lineup for the day:
⏰ 8:30 AM vs. Carolina Freedom
⏰ 10:15 AM vs. Dirt Dynasty

📅 When: Tomorrow, June 27th

📍 Where: Middle Creek Sports Complex

Coach said: "Get back, Get Back you don't know me like that!" or something. Stepping up to 9U rules this weekend means leading off and stealing bases, so you know we had to make sure the boys know exactly how to get back to that bag in a hurry! 🏃‍♂️💨

I’m not going to lie, the transition to kid pitch had a few of us (coaches and parents included! 😅) feeling a little nervous. It’s a big step up, and the idea of it can be pretty intimidating.

But wow, did these kids show up today! 🙌

Today’s practice was incredibly productive. With every throw and every swing, you could literally watch their confidence grow. They are shaking off the nerves and realizing just how capable they really are.
We only have 3 more practices left to fine-tune everything before we put our new skills to the test in our very first game!

Huge shoutout to these players for working hard and cheering each other on. The future looks bright (and fast)! 🔥💪
