We used to say there wasn't a manual for parenting, marriage, or friendships. While life still doesn't come with a perfect roadmap, there are incredible resources available to help us navigate its many seasons.
I recently listened to a conversation between and friendship coach , author of Fighting for Our Friendships. I found myself wishing I had this wisdom years ago—through young adulthood, motherhood, and the many transitions in between.
Friendships often change after high school and college as marriage, children, careers, and life responsibilities reshape our worlds.
My biggest takeaways:
✨ Healthy friendships require intentional effort and investment.
✨ Understanding your attachment style matters.
✨ Difficult conversations shouldn't be avoided.
✨ One "best friend" doesn't have to meet every need—there is beauty in having multiple meaningful friendships, each serving a unique role in your life.
Friendship isn't just something we find; it's something we cultivate. 🥹❤️
