It takes a village to raise a wrestler.
Wrestling has taught me a lot about life. It’s not just about winning matches or standing on the podium. It’s about the early mornings, the hard practices, the tough losses, and the moments where you have to decide if you’re going to keep going even when things get hard.
There have been times when I didn’t believe in myself. Times when I walked off the mat frustrated, tired, or feeling like I wasn’t good enough. But in those moments, I’ve always had people in my corner who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.
My coaches push me to be better every day.
My teammates train with me and support me like brothers and sisters. My community cheers me on and reminds me why I started.
Over time, wrestling has become more than just a sport to me. It’s a family. A brotherhood and sisterhood of people who work hard together, support each other, and celebrate each other’s success.
I started wrestling in the 8th grade, and in just a few years this sport has changed my life. Through a lot of hard work and the support of my village, I’ve been able to accomplish things I once only dreamed about.
• 3x State Qualifier
• 2x Regional Champion
• 3x State Placer
• 2026 120 lb State Champion
• Ranked #1 120 # in North Carolina
I’m also proud to be the first men’s state champion my school has had in 17 years and only the second in its history.
Now I have the opportunity to compete on some of the biggest stages in the country this summer, including Fargo, the U.S. Open in Las Vegas, Junior National Duals, Virginia Beach National Individuals, Virginia Beach National Team Duals, and an Olympic Wrestling Training Camp.
These opportunities mean everything to me, but traveling and competing at this level comes with a lot of expenses. That’s why I’m asking my village for help.
Your support helps me continue chasing my dream and representing my school, my team, and my community at the highest level.
When you donate, you’re not just helping with travel costs — you’re reminding me that I’m not doing this alone and that I have a whole village behind me.
Thank you for believing in me and for being part of my journey. 🤼♂️💙 Please consider donating.
