QUINCY HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS ARE ALMOST HERE!

Think you have what it takes to represent Quincy Volleyball this season? We can't wait to see you compete!

Tryout Dates
• Monday, August 24
• Tuesday, August 25
• Wednesday, August 26

Monday Schedule
3:30 PM – Arrive dressed and ready
3:45 PM – Check-in begins at head table (name tags, height, vertical, positions, combine sheets)
4:00–6:00 PM – Tryouts

Tuesday & Wednesday
3:30–5:30 PM tryouts

What to Bring
• Quincy gear (tshirt, spandex/ leggings)
• Closed-lid water bottle (no Stanleys or exposed straws)
• Court-approved shoes and any necessary braces
• A positive attitude and your best effort!

IMPORTANT: Every athlete must be fully cleared in Final Forms before tryouts. This includes all required signatures, a current physical, and ASB completed. If you are not cleared, you will not be allowed to participate.

No tryout = No team selection. Athletes have 3 days to tryout and show skills. If you do not tryout on the dates listed opportunities for team selection will be forfeited. Participation in tryouts does not guarantee a spot on a team.

Team selections will be sent to the email address we have on file after tryouts conclude on Wednesday. Please make sure your email address is current and accurate so you receive your notification. If selected you will return to practice on Thursday & Friday 3:45pm-5:45pm

What an incredible way to wrap up our 3-day camp with All American!

We had the amazing opportunity to bring in former college and professional volleyball players to create an immersive experience for our younger athletes, the future of our high school program.

Over the course of 3 days, these girls put in 5 hours of volleyball each day and that is no small task. Their hard work, energy, and commitment showed in every session as they focused on positional training, defense, serving, and so much more.

We are so proud of the effort they gave and the growth they showed throughout camp. The future is bright!

WSU Team Camp 2026 Recap

What an incredible few days at WSU Team Camp! Our Quincy Volleyball Team had an absolute blast competing, learning, and growing together.

From competitive matches to positional workshops, practice planning, and skill-building drills, every moment challenged us to become better players and teammates. We battled our way through pool play to earn a #1 seed into brackets, finishing 4th in our bracket and 15th overall out of 31 teams.

But our biggest accomplishment wasn't where we finished—it was who we became.

This team left camp completely different than when we arrived. The girls showed relentless effort on defense, never backed down from a challenge, and persevered through every point. We won far more matches than we lost, and when we did come up short, it was by only 2–3 points. Their grit, determination, and fight were on full display all weekend. They proved that heart, hustle, and believing in one another can take you a long way.

A very special thank you to our WSU player coach, Mary, for pouring into our girls, encouraging them, and becoming an extension of our Quincy Volleyball family. We can't wait to cheer you on this season, along with all of your amazing teammates!

A huge shoutout also goes to the entire WSU volleyball coaching staff for creating such an outstanding camp experience. Thank you for your time, energy, and commitment to helping every team improve. You made this an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to come back next year!

Finally, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our amazing Quincy community and the Quincy Boosters. Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraisers and invested in our program. Because of your generosity, these athletes were able to experience a camp that will impact them far beyond volleyball. Your support is helping build not only better volleyball players but stronger young women, and we are so grateful.

Now it's time to take everything we learned and get back to work. The season is just around the corner, and we'll continue putting in the work as we prepare for August.

The future is bright for Quincy Volleyball, and we're just getting started!

We had an amazing time, stayed busy for quite a while, and couldn't have asked for a better turnout! Your support, laughter, and encouragement mean so much to our team.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. Thank you for helping make this event such a success, we couldn't do it without you!
