Bracket racing in the NW. Drivers: Jerry & Anastazja Gossette. Crew: Jessica & Matthew. Jerry went to the banquet and saw the trophies the champions got.

.Jerry races his '68 Olds Cutlass Supreme "Judgment Day" in Pro bracket, while "Zee" races her 2003 Motivational Tubing Top Fuel "Misstical" in Jr Lightning NHRA Division 6. A father-daughter duo that are inseparable...

Zee has been racing since she was 8 years old, the first to run the LO 206 gas engine after it was approved for competition...

997 was the catalyst to how Jerry got started racing. Basically, after trying most of the 1998 season on street tires and getting his first trophy, a runner-up finish to Jody Lang, and he was hooked! It was at that moment he decided he wanted to race the following season and win one in memory of Alexandria. So that winter Jerry got a set of slicks and a MSD box and raced the entire 1999 season to the Street Bracket Championship and we've been at it ever since.

Happy New Year everyone! Been a quiet off-season here. Got our new, matching helmets a couple months ago. This is her's, mine's blue... First time running a full face so will have to get used to that.

Today is the last day of my holiday break from work, and a snow day for the kids. So took advantage and installed the NecksGen mounts into her new helmet and got the tether readjusted. Thank you Jeff at for the tech assist to the installation correction with this helmet. Much appreciated! 102 days until Bremerton's opener...

A week late posting about the event down at Sacramento, was posting on my personal page... sorry about that...

Zee did well! On Saturday she won a coin toss in the lanes for $20 and made it to the 1/4s for $100, and on Sunday Runner-up for $400... she really enjoyed the track, the racers, and promoters... A nice way to close out her 2021 season...

This was the first race since replacing the valve springs and rockers... Car was great, and the traction was the best I'd been on all year. So good had to keep tightening up the front shocks... Wasn't my weekend, lost 1st round and the buy back rounds both days, one race by .0014... weather was good and had a great time just the same.

We're both looking forward to 2022, for sure.

What a day 1... Jerry lost 1st round, late and car bounced and lost some 330... Buy back and 2 clicks tighter and was .037 to a .199, the adjustment was perfect and would've ran .004 under the 1st round dial. Killed almost .04 and not enough....
Zee. On the other hand, went 3 rounds and won $20 in the lanes...
Golf cart died. 2 of 3 bolts that hold the motor that turns the belt had fallen out... can't make this stuff up.. Thank Jesse Adams for lending your gold cart, again, so I could go get her...
Upside is cars (and golf cart) are good for tomorrow and we'll try again.

We made it Sacramento Raceway Park without incident. Jesse Adams took of them with a nice spot next to staging... all checked into the hotel, now dinner. 7am.gate. 9am Jrs to the lanes.

-.003 light 1st round for Zee, -.008 red 1st round for me... lost double breakout in buyback round... but a solid day. We're prepping for something bigger. Traction was off the chart... lights were adjusted, thank you Tim...

Back at Bremerton. Fall Series #1, Driver Series #8, Dayfire tomorrow... Judgment Day is full throttle and the track held it second pair out... no spin, solid weight transfer and lift... Hoping Zee and I have a great day...

Zee went 2nd round. Car got a little happy with no room to work.

Our whole family the most fun in a long time at the Finals... Teammates were all great, as the Captains and Managers... We came up short, but we both had something to work with. Jess got to watch everything and especially important Matthew got to watch some and didn't get get ill...

We finished 2nd as a Team Sunday, around 4th place Sunday for the Manager's Cup. Sunday Sportsman Semis - all 4 cars were Bremerton! Howe Jr lays down a 7 pack in the Final to go to Vegas as the wild card.

Looking forward to the Fall Series, and next year, as well! If Mission can't host because of the "14 day flatten curve" fear and control continues, hoping it moved to Spokane, which will be back up and running.

Also, just like when I switched to an Eastern track in 2015 and many others across the Division followed... trying to get a few to come over to Bremerton next year. 😈😎
