A lot of young pitchers throw with all deltoid and no connection. That’s where velocity leaks, inconsistency starts, and arm issues can happen.

Today we worked on proper arm positioning, rotation mechanics, and learning how to engage the pec during the throw to create a cleaner, more powerful movement pattern. Fastball first mentality. Then we carried that same intent into the changeup — throwing it through the top of the catcher’s mask without slowing the body down.

Same arm speed. Same aggression. Different result.

Congratulations to David Hinojosa on making his Draft League debut with the Trenton Thunder, tossing 3 scoreless innings and recording 3 strikeouts.

David’s journey is a reminder that development, consistency, and hard work pay off. We’ve watched him grow from a talented young arm into one of the top pitchers in the country, and this is only the beginning.

Keep embracing the grind. The work continues. ⚡️
