At the heart of Queens, NYC, something bigger than football is happening. The Bayside Raiders aren’t just a youth tackle football program we are a family, a mentorship system, and a foundation for young athletes to build discipline, confidence, and purpose. For over 40 years, our program has helped shape the lives of kids in our community. Coming off a strong season filled with growth, support, and momentum, we were building something special. But this year, we faced a setback. After placing trust in someone to help lead and grow our program, we were unfortunately taken advantage of and thousands of dollars meant for our kids was stolen from our program. That loss hurt not just financially, but emotionally. But we are not folding. We are not quitting. And most importantly we are not letting our kids suffer because of it. Thanks to a large donation from our new president Coach X and his wife Mal, we were able to recoup a large amount of money that was stolen from our program. Along with the help and support of Coach Juju, Coach Jah , Coach Ryan and Coach Nico who have countinued to help Coach and mentor these young kids. While also receiving great advice and guidance from our former coaches/presidents, Coach Tony, Coach Don & Coach Lew. Our players rely on this program as a safe, structured environment. When you donate to the Bayside Raiders, you are helping us recover and continue providing Safe, high-quality football equipment, League and field fees, Travel for games and tournaments, Uniforms and development opportunities. Giving a child the chance to play who otherwise couldn’t. Helping rebuild a program that refuses to give up. Supporting mentorship, discipline, and leadership. Keeping kids focused, active, and off the streets. Turning Setback Into Strength. This moment does not define us, how we respond does.
