This is what 80 6inch blanks look like... after two hours of cutting. I'm gearing up for the Crossroads of the west gun show this Saturday. It's in Phoenix at the Arizona state fair grounds. If you're there make sure to stop by and say hi!

Sometimes you've gotta get creative when it comes to product testing. You need to know if a gas mask wearing Russian would be able to effectively set up the stand. The answer is da. But wow Arizona is a hot place in July.

This is the double hangar target pictured with a 10inch gong and a 14.5 inch torso target. The brackets are made of 14ga steel tube cut and welded to spec. The legs and cross member are 45" 1"X2" furring strips, the reason for this is that no matter what material you use it's going to get hit eventually the wood is the easiest and cheapest thing to replace. The chains and hardware are all galvanized to prevent corrosion. The price for just the stand with hardware is $125 the price for the stand including the steel plates is $225

I love the sound of a round impacting steel. Ever since I bought my first steel gong and made a dinky little rebar stand to hold it, steel plates have been my favorite targets. I've sold a few stands here and there when friends or family wanted one but now I'm stepping it up a notch by producing and selling target stands on a larger scale. Everything I sell is made by me using the best materials I can find. My stands are designed to be easy to transport, easy to fix and most importantly sturdy. When it comes to things like this I think the right motto is buy once cry once. My stands aren't the cheapest out there but they sure are the best by far! If you're interested in one just shoot me a message. If you're not in the market for an awesome steel gong stand I'd really appreciate a like on the page and for you to share it with someone you know who loves shooting.

When I say that I've been making target stands for a while I'm not joking. The first stand I made about 5 years ago is that rebar one that looks like Frankenstein might own it. It worked well but it was hard to transport because it doesn't disassemble. It's also got many battle scars where it got shot then I came back and patched it with some other scrap metal, including the leg of an old steel table. The next stand pictured was one I made about 3 years ago using steel tubing and conduit. It worked great and because the legs are conduit it was easy to replace when they got hit. The problem however is that when it went through the steel tubing the conduit would get stuck inside. That's why on the latest versions i make the legs are all wood, easy and cheap to replace and it won't get stuck even if it's hit in the metal bracket. The reason I'm making and selling these stands is because I want to give everyone out there an opportunity to skip the learning curve I went through and just get to the good part. Plinging steel is a great feeling and if you shoot at all a gong is a must have for any range day.

I'm excited to add this double gong stand to the Desert Minuteman lineup. This thing is a beast, it's almost 4ft wide and about the same height. The only thing better than one gong is two! As always the brackets and hardware are handmade right here in AZ with the highest quality materials available. Stand and hardware for $130 with targets $220
