🏀 March Basketball Clinic Recap & Final Week Alert!

We had a great turnout this past weekend as we focused on Defense & Rebounding! 💪 Players worked on slide drills, close-outs, and box-out techniques and outlet passes.

📢 This Saturday from 12–2 PM marks our final clinic session!
We’ll be wrapping up this great month of growth, hustle, and hoops with a full review and fun.

🏀 Week 2 Recap🏀

This week, the girls put in the work focusing on shooting mechanics and footwork! 🔥 From fine-tuning their form and free throw shooting, they showed focus and determination.

💪 Key Highlights:
✅ Shooting Drills: Spot shooting, form shooting, and a free throw shots
✅ Footwork Work: Jab steps, pivots, and triple threat

🏀 Weekend Skills & Drills Recap! 🏀

Great energy in the gym this weekend as our 2nd-8th grade players put in the work! We focused on fundamentals and ball handling, making sure every player is sharpening their skills and getting more confident with the ball.

✅ Dribbling Work: Stationary drills, cone weaving, and full-court speed dribbles to improve ball control under pressure.
✅ Passing Focus: Chest, bounce, and overhead passes with partner drills & fun passing races to test quick decision-making.
✅ Layups & Finishing: Both right & left-hand layups, plus jump stops to work on touch around the basket.
✅ Cool-Down & Review: Stretching, feedback, and Q&A to reinforce what we learned!

Liked seeing the effort and looking forward to next week’s workout as we keep building strong habits on the court. 💙🏀

📢 Quakertown Youth Girls Basketball League Weekly Recap! 🏀

Here’s what our players have been working this past week! 💪

Week 9:
Shooting on the Move:
Our athletes sharpened their shooting skills with a focus on:
✅ Catch-and-Shoot: Quick shots right after catching the ball.
✅ Cut and Shoot: Moving to open spots before shooting.
✅ Spot Shooting: Practicing accuracy from various court positions.
✅ Rebound and Shoot: Hustling to rebound and reset for another shot.

Advanced Rebounding Techniques:
✅ Box-Out Fundamentals: Mastering positioning to grab rebounds.
✅ Outlet Passing: Quick, accurate passes after securing the rebound.

The session ended with a 3-on-3 scrimmage.

Great job to all our players for their hard work and hustle! 🏀🔥 We’re proud to see their skills improving each week. Let’s keep it going! 💙💛
