1st PLACE LOOKS GOOD ON THE CYCLONES! 🥇

Proud is an understatement.

The Cyclones are your GETTYSBURG BATTLEFIELD BLAST CHAMPIONS!

What. A. Weekend.

UNDEFEATED. 11 GOALS SCORED. ONLY 5 CONCEDED. AND 1 CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY COMING HOME.

The championship game was an absolute nail-biter. Down by two, these girls refused to quit. The comeback was on, and they fought all the way back to finish 3-2, capped off by an incredible PK to seal the championship!

And then came the emotions.

All three coaches were in tears of joy at the final whistle. The countless hours of work, coaching, teaching, pushing, and believing in these girls showed up this weekend in every single player who stepped onto that field.

This team fought for each other. They believed in each other. And they never stopped battling.

That’s what being a Cyclone is all about.

And of course… Coach Geoff got GLITTER BOMBED at the end. Apparently winning a championship wasn’t enough punishment. He even got out there and twerked with the girls… but that video is safely hidden somewhere.

1ST PLACE. UNDEFEATED. CHAMPIONS.

What a way to kick off the fall season.

So incredibly proud of every single one of these girls. The work is paying off.

Day 1 of the Gettysburg Tournament is officially in the books — and the Cyclones showed UP!

2 games. 2 wins. 5 goals scored. Only 1 goal allowed.

From the first whistle to the final whistle, these girls brought the energy, the fight, and the mentality. Every ball. Every battle. Every minute. They came ready to compete.

Now it’s time for Sunday… SEMIFINALS.

One more day. One more opportunity. One more step.

Let’s keep rolling, Cyclones. We’re not done yet.

8:00 AM. Saturday morning. Empty fields.

Most people were still sleeping.

The Cyclones? Already working.

This morning, our girls had an awesome opportunity to work with Coach Mike from New Vision Soccer Academy on a positional awareness session — and he brought the cameras with him.

The session will be featured in a new YouTube segment, giving our girls a chance to showcase their soccer IQ, awareness, and understanding of the game.

The field was completely quiet when we arrived… until Coach Geoff fired up the speakers and woke the whole place up.

Work hard. Learn. Compete. Have fun.

And after putting in the work at 8 AM on a Saturday, we had to celebrate the only way Cyclones know how…

ORLANDO, HERE WE COME!

What a weekend for our Lady Cyclones!

The girls battled their way to 2nd place in the 5v5 tournament and officially punched their ticket to the National 5v5 Tournament in Orlando!

We’re currently ranked #2 in Maryland and #13 nationally in 5v5!

The growth, confidence, and fight these girls continue to show is incredible. But we’re not heading to Orlando just to participate.

WE’RE GOING FOR GOLD!

Saturday: 5v5 Tournament — 2nd Place 🥈

Less than 12 hours later: FOUR 9v9 scrimmages against some seriously strong competition. 💪⚽️

And these girls? They are on a HOT streak. 🌀🔥

The team you see today is NOT the team you saw back in May. They’re more composed. More structured. More confident. And they’re playing some of their best soccer yet.

We’re building something special—and we’re nowhere near done.

So when you see the Lady Cyclones at EDP or across the 11 tournaments on our schedule this year… don’t expect an easy game.

Expect a battle. 😤

We’re coming.
We’re ready.
And we’re not stopping. 🌀
