The girls had the honor of playing in the 1st Annual Charlie Joo Father’s Day Memorial Tournament today, taking the number 2 seed going into bracket play and finishing as runners-up in the Championship game against Manassas Cavalry Softball 8U Blue in a very tight game full of incredible plays! We are so proud of both teams! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who gave up their weekends to coach/cheer on these girls in the heat!

Big shout outs to #10 Stella E. and #2 Piper W. for their in-the-park dingers, to #11 Davis B. and #6 Sophie R. for their awesome ESPN-worthy double play, and for #8 JoJo R. and #5 Graci F. for earning the game MVP necklaces Manassas Blue Coach Jay hands out to their opponents for the day!

The Loudoun Liberty 8U Reid girls had a huge week at the plate, taking home the NOVA NIT 8U Championship! 63 runs scored, 16 runs scored against. 49 singles, 12 doubles, 4 triples, 5 in-the-park home runs, and 53 RBIs. And backed up the 🔥 at the plate with some incredible fielding! Way to get it girls!!!!

Our girls are the USSSA Black Eyed Susan Tournament 8U “Open” champs 🥇 Going 3-1 on the weekend, these girls played their hearts out with some huge defensive plays from everyone. Special shout outs to #6 Sophie R. for a diving catch at pitcher yesterday, for #7 Ivy B. and #4 Davis B. for huge outs on pop flies to the outfield, and our championship game MVP #5 Graci F. with multiple big plays including a caught line drive and double play to #8 JoJo R. at 1st base!!!
