Glp1s, crash diets, not enough resistance training

Jk I take my rest days very seriously.

I have messed around with training weeks where I split my volume to like 1-2 lifts a day (15-20min) for time reasons and notice a huge benefit.

Any other coaches relate?

I usually just act like I didn’t hear it or it didn’t happen. Am I wrong for that?

Lifting weights will result in more fat loss and sustaining fat loss long term.

My best days usually aren’t the most productive.

They’re the days that include the basics.

Movement.
Sunlight.
Time outdoors.
Good food.
Connection with people I care about.
A few quiet minutes to pray, meditate, or reflect.
Gratitude.

It’s funny how often we’re looking for something more when most of us need more of what’s already available.

I’ve spent years chasing optimization, and the older I get, the more I realize that feeling good is often built on simple things done consistently.

Not every day has to be extraordinary.

A lot of the time, a good life is just a collection of good days.

One of the biggest shifts in my health wasn’t a supplement, diet, or workout.

It was my attitude.

A few years ago, I spent a lot of time focused on what was wrong. The symptoms. The problems. The things I couldn’t do.

And while those things were real, constantly focusing on them didn’t help me move forward.

Life isn’t perfect.

You’ll have bad days. Poor sleep. Stress. Setbacks. Challenges.

But life can still be good.

I’ve found that gratitude, purpose, movement, sunlight, good food, meaningful relationships, and serving other people do more for my health than most people realize.

Your mindset won’t solve every problem.

But it will change how you experience them.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?”

And start asking, “What’s still good?”

There’s usually more than you think.
