We had such a great first night of 2026 Fairland Girls Fall League yesterday! It was awesome seeing so many girls in the gym, working hard, learning & having fun! 🐉

This is exactly what Fall League is all about getting girls in the gym, developing their skills, building confidence, and growing their love for the game!

And we’re just getting started!

The wait is over! Our 2026 Fairland Girls Fall League officially kicks off TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 8, at Fairland West!

📣 ALL GIRLS IN GRADES K–6 ARE WELCOME!
You do NOT have to attend Fairland Schools to play! Grab a friend, bring your basketball shoes, and come spend the fall in the gym with us!

⏰ SIGN-UP & PRACTICE TIMES:
🏀 Grades K–2 | 5:00–5:45 PM
🏀 Grades 3–4 | 5:45–6:30 PM
🏀 Grades 5–6 | 6:30–7:15 PM

Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early so we can get everyone registered before their session begins!

⭐ BUSY WITH ANOTHER FALL SPORT? COME ANYWAY!
We know our girls are involved in lots of activities! Tuesday and Thursday sessions are centered around skill development, fundamentals, and getting better, and practices are not mandatory. Missing a practice because of another sport or activity will not keep your daughter from participating. We want girls to have the opportunity to do both!

It’s almost time to get back in the gym! The 2026 Fairland Fall League is right around the corner, and we’d love to have your daughter join us this fall!

📣 IMPORTANT: This league is open to ALL girls in grades K–6 — you do NOT have to attend Fairland Schools to participate!
So grab a friend and come play some basketball with us! 🏀

Our weekday practices are designed more like skill-development and training sessions, and attendance is not mandatory. If your daughter plays another sport or has another activity and needs to miss a session, that’s completely okay — we still want her to join us!

Our goal is to get young girls in the gym, help them learn the game, develop their skills, build confidence, and have FUN playing basketball! 🙌

Back to school with our favorite crew! 🏀💕

First-day smiles, cute fits, fresh starts, and some of our favorite faces! Our players and coaches are officially back for another school year, and we’re so excited to see everything this year has in store for them!

Here’s to good grades, great friends, lots of laughs, unforgettable memories, and making every day count. And of course… every day back at school means we’re one day closer to basketball season! 👀

Have the BEST year, ladies! Work hard, have fun, be kind, and keep making us proud — on and off the court!

Congratulations to our own Rylee Russell on being named a Midwest Girls Basketball Top 100 Prospect for the Class of 2029! 🔥

Only a sophomore and already making an impact at the varsity level. We’re proud of the work she continues to put in and even more excited to see what’s ahead!

Keep working, Rylee — you’re just getting started! 💚🏀

There’s something pretty special happening with this group. 🏀

We keep getting pictures of our girls finding their way back into the gym together, and this week was no different. What stands out to me isn’t just that they’re getting shots up & it’s that they’re choosing each other.

They’re building chemistry, holding each other accountable, and creating the kind of team culture that coaches can encourage, but players ultimately have to create themselves.

Basketball season will eventually give us wins and losses, but what these girls are building right now goes way beyond a scoreboard. And I can’t wait to see where it takes them.💚

This wasn’t just a one-time thing…🏀

While we haven’t had any team workouts lately because everyone’s focused on fall sports and getting ready for the school year, our Lady Dragons haven’t stopped putting in the work.

For multiple days now, several of our girls have been getting together on their own to get shots up, compete, and make each other better.

The best part? No coaches have been there organizing workouts or telling them to show up. This has been completely player-led. They made the plans, they showed up, and they’re choosing to invest in themselves and each other. That’s what building a culture looks like. The work that happens when no one is asking you to be there is often what makes the biggest difference when the season starts.

Proud of these girls for taking ownership of their game and continuing to raise the standard. Keep showing up, keep competing, and keep getting better. We can’t wait to get everyone back together soon! 💚
