⚓️ Game 6 Recap – Prior Lake Admirals vs. Australia 🇦🇺

Our final game of the week brought us an exciting matchup against a talented team from Australia, and our Admirals battled until the very last out.

The first big spark came when Jake Henry ripped a double to bring Blake Moonen home and put us on the board.

Our defense continued to shine as Braden Trnka tracked down a fly ball in center field and fired a perfect throw to Jake Henry at third base for the tag out.

In the second inning, things got interesting as wild pitches helped Leo Olson work his way to first base to load them up for the Admirals. We threatened again later in the game when Amory Kalis smoked a line drive to third base to once again load the bases.

On the mound, Amory Kalis delivered a flawless third inning, needing just three batters to record three outs.
Another defensive highlight came when Max Medvec turned a heads-up double play by tagging the runner at second before throwing to first baseman Emmett Wright to complete the play.

In the fifth inning, Adam Smith crushed a ball to center field for a solid base hit, keeping the Admirals fighting until the end.

While the scoreboard wasn't in our favor, this week was about so much more than wins and losses. Our players competed against teams from across the country—and even across the world—made lifelong memories, grew as teammates, and represented Prior Lake with pride every step of the way.

⚓️ Game 5 Recap – Battling Until the Final Out ⚓️

Game 5 was a tough one, but one thing hasn't changed—the boys' energy, effort, and positive attitude continue to shine!

One of our highlights came when Max Medvec scored our second run of the week, staying alert and taking advantage of a dropped third strike to cross home plate.

Defensively, the Admirals put together another great sequence as Luke Halvorson made a strong throw in from center field to Emmett Wright, who quickly relayed the ball home to pitcher Braden Trnka for the tag at the plate to record the out.

The bats came alive in the third inning when Emmett Wright ripped a double, setting the stage for Luke Halvorson, who delivered with 2 RBIs to keep the momentum going.

We ended the game with another incredible defensive play as Austin Pinks laid out for a diving catch in left field to close things out in style.

Now it's time to trade baseball cleats for life jackets as the team heads off for one of the week's most anticipated adventures—white water rafting!

No matter the outcome on the scoreboard, these boys continue to compete, support one another, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

⚓️ Game 4 Recap – The Defense Was on Display! ⚓️

Our Admirals put together another game full of outstanding defensive plays!

We kicked things off with a great double play as Max Medvec tracked down a fly ball in left field and fired it to Emmett Wright at second base for the force out.

Later, the defense turned another double play when Adam Smith made the catch, stepped on second for the force out, and fired the ball to Austin Pinks at first to complete the double play!

To close out the second inning, Blake Moonen came up with a great catch in center field to record the third out.

One of the biggest defensive moments came when Jake Henry fielded the ball on the mound and sent a rocket home to Emmett Wright, who made the tag at the plate to end the scoring threat.

Later in the third inning, Andres Moras made a great play at third base and threw across the diamond to Amory Kalis at first for another big out.

Our team continues to battle hard, improve every game, and make exciting plays all over the field.

While the competition is heating up, we're also excited to take on a new adventure after Game 5 later today with a white water rafting trip!

It's been an unforgettable week of baseball, teamwork, and memories.

Game 3 brought another opportunity for our Admirals to show their grit and growth on the field!

Our defense came ready to play from the very first inning. To end the opening frame, Will Bondarenko started a beautiful double play from shortstop to Jake Henry at second base to get us out of the inning.

The second inning was all about shutting the door. Leo Lyrenmann delivered a scoreless inning on the mound, highlighted by Emmett Wright tracking down a deep fly ball in center field.

The defense stayed locked in during the third inning as Jake Henry made two more outstanding catches on deep fly balls in center field. To cap off the inning, Luke Halvorson showed off his arm behind the plate by throwing out a runner attempting to steal third, where Braden Trnka made the tag for the final out.

The fourth inning was another defensive display! With Will Bondarenko taking over on the mound, the Admirals retired the side in order—just three batters, three outs. Braden Trnka came up with two outstanding catches in center field, while Amory Kalis made an incredible diving catch in right field to keep the inning scoreless.

These boys continue to battle every inning, making big defensive plays and growing with each game. We couldn't be prouder of the effort, teamwork, and determination they're showing on the biggest stage.

Game 2 Recap ⚾️

Game two got underway with Max Medvec taking the mound to start against the Cubs from New Jersey. After a tough start, Amory Kalis came in and delivered our first scoreless inning of the week—a great moment for the team!

It was another hard-fought battle that unfortunately didn't end with the result we were hoping for, but these games are about so much more than the final score. The boys embraced new challenges by playing different positions, continued to compete with heart, and gained valuable experience against talented teams from across the country.

One of the coolest parts of the week has been meeting players from all over. Teams from Australia 🇦🇺 and Canada 🇨🇦 are here as well, making this an unforgettable experience both on and off the field.

We're proud of how these boys continue to support one another, learn, and grow with every game. On to the next one—Go Admirals! ⚓️💙

Our first game at the Cal Ripken Experience is in the books! ⚾️

It took us a few innings to adjust to playing on turf, and the level of competition here is exactly what we came for. The boys never backed down and competed hard from the first pitch to the last.

Our first run came when Austin Pinks ripped a line drive to left field, allowing Jake Henry to race home and put us on the board! We also had strong pitching performances from Jake Henry, Blake Moonen, and Emmett Wright, who all played with grit and determination throughout the game.

While the scoreboard wasn't in our favor today, we're incredibly proud of how the boys played. They showed heart, hustle, and great energy all game long. We're learning, growing, and looking forward to getting back on the field for game two.
