North Central Speedway Race results 8•15•26

Heat Race: started 1st ➜ DNF
The heat started off good! Was leading the race until two to go when running the high side i got a little too close to the wall and stalled m the car and unfortunately another car collided with me. I’m just glad both me and Pete were okay and able to race the feature!!

Feature : Started 2nd ➜ DNF

Well we’re able to get everything fixed from the heat race and able to make a few laps lead for 4 laps before getting passed by our motor builder ran 2nd for a few laps and got a RR flat and i definitely had some momentum! unfortunately that flat tire ended the race for us.

Oh well,that’s racing there’s some bad and good nights! Can’t wait to see everyone next weekend! 🩷💙🏁

Race results North Central Speedway 8•1•26

Heat race: Started 1st ➜ finished 5th. We battled some handling issues and a few driver mistakes but kept digging and made adjustments for the feature.

Feature: Started 1st ➜ finished 9th. Unfortunately, the car just wasn’t where we needed it to be at the start and we faded back as the race went on! Started to come alive at the end but was to far behind at that point. Not the result we were hoping for, but we’ll keep working hard, learn from it!
We will be taking this weekend off to spend time with family! But will back the following weekend!🩷💙🏁

North Central Speedway results 7•25•26

Heat started 1st ➜ finished 6th due to the car not performing the way it should !We made a lot of adjustments before heading back out for the feature and they definitely helped!

Feature started 11th ➜ finished 9th Overall it was a solid run and we’re happy to head home with some positives to build on.We’ll keep making improvements and come back even stronger next weekend!🩷💙🏁

Praying for a speedy recovery for James!🙏🏼🏁

Granite City Motor Park owner James Trantina provides heartbreaking update following serious ATV accident

Granite City Motor Park owner and longtime racing promoter James Trantina III is recovering after suffering severe injuries in an ATV accident Sunday night at the Sauk Rapids, Minnesota race track.

In an emotional update shared Tuesday, Trantina thanked the racing community for its overwhelming support while revealing the extent of his injuries.

"I’m in rough shape, but alive," Trantina wrote. "I can’t thank everyone enough who helped with everything that night. I apologize to all who had to witness it. I’ll be honest, I thought I was dead and the ambulance ride was not really reassuring I’d live through it."

According to Trantina, he suffered:

A broken nose with a 1½-inch laceration requiring stitches
Multiple fractures to his right shoulder blade, with pieces of bone missing
A fractured left shoulder blade and a torn muscle that may require surgery
Three compressed vertebrae in his lower back
10 broken ribs (eight on the left side and two on the right), with doctors considering rib plating surgery
Facial injuries, including significant swelling and bruising

He also remains on oxygen as doctors monitor his recovery.

"I'm in a ton of pain, but I'm alive. I'm beyond grateful for that. Life is precious, that's for sure."

The accident occurred during Sunday's racing program when, according to previous reports, Trantina's side-by-side ATV flipped on the backstretch after the track had been watered, pinning him underneath the vehicle. He was sent St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

Trantina owns Granite City Motor Park, I-94 EMR Speedway in Fergus Falls, and North Central Speedway in Brainerd. He also operates Triple B Motorsports, which fields dirt Late Model entries for Dan Ebert and Cody Overton.

The motorsports community has rallied around Trantina since the accident, flooding him with prayers, calls, messages, and well wishes.

We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to James Trantina, his family, and everyone involved in his recovery. Wishing him strength and a full recovery in the weeks and months ahead.

First night back in a Modified since 2023!

Heat Race: Started 5th ➜ Finished 4th
Feature: Started 10th ➜ DNF

Unfortunately, our night came to an early end in the feature after the driveshaft fell out, forcing us to take a DNF. It’s definitely not how we wanted our first night back in the modified to end, but we’re thankful for a solid heat race and learned a lot throughout the night. We’ll get everything fixed up, make a few adjustments, and come back even stronger next weekend!!🩷💙🏁⚡️

Unfortunately not the Saturday night recap we wanted to make but here it is!

First.. We have been keeping a little secret 🤫

Last night was supposed to be the 00AZ’s first IMCA modified debut since 2023 at North Central Speedway! Unfortunately the trailer tire had other plans.. Causing us to not find a replacement tire to make it to the track in time.
We will be making a comeback next weekend in the Modified class!!

A huge thank you to my buddy Joe for coming and spending endless long nights at the shop this week to help us with the transmission! A big thank you to Dakotah for coming to the shop yesterday and helping out on the car. Also shoutout to Luke Hines for borrowing us a part for the car!! just sucks we couldn’t make it out and put all the hard work to show!

Yes we are racing today🤩.We made the four and half hour road trip down to Clay County Speedway for some Monday night racing!

North Central Speedway Results 6•27•26

Heat Race Results:Started 1st ➜ finished 1st 🏁

We started on the pole for the heat race and were able to pick up the win! That gave us a lot of confidence heading into the feature!

Feature Results: Started 2nd ➜ finished 7th

Unfortunately as the race went on, the tires started losing traction which made it tough to keep up with the track conditions. We did everything we could and came home with a 7th-place finish. Not the result we were hoping for, but we’ll keep working hard, make a few adjustments, and come back stronger!!Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend coming up!!🩷💙🏁⚡️
