It might be 90+ degrees outside, but we've got winter on the brain! ☀️➡️❄️
We truly cannot wait to welcome families back to the hill. While it's hard to picture the cold today, we are patiently waiting for the thermometer to drop so we can start making snow and firing up the fireplaces for you all to enjoy.

We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our team! Whether you want to pick up some extra hours right now or are looking ahead to secure a spot for the winter season, we have opportunities for you.

We need immediate help getting everything ready! These positions do not have a set schedule and will be on an as-needed basis—perfect for anyone looking for flexible, on-call work.

🎉 It’s official: FOOD IS ON THE WAY! 🎉

Huge shoutout to the Board of Adjustment for the final green light last night, and an even BIGGER thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

As you can see, we’re already hard at work finishing up the inside of our new concession building so it's completely ready before the winter months are upon us. 🛠️📦

The only thing missing? A name! 🙌

We’re steering clear of snowy/wintery names for this building and looking for something unique and timeless. To help kickstart your brain, we'd love something perhaps related to the Lost, Oasis, or Fun in our brand! 💡We will have lots of natural light and lots of plants.....

Lost Oasis is getting closer to winter thrills, and our brand-new warming building is coming together beautifully.

As you can see, we’re bringing some incredible natural elements into the space:

✨ Stunning live edge wood for our counters and window bars.

🔥 A cozy fireplace to warm up those toes after a day on the snowtubing lanes.

🌱 Lush green plants...

Wait, why plants? 🌿 Can anyone guess why they're there? (Hint: It has everything to do with the name of our park... think of a hidden paradise! 😉🌴)

But while the park has its name, this cozy sanctuary is still missing one major thing… A NAME OF ITS OWN! 🪵🏔️

Huge Win! (One down, two to go!) 🥂

We have some amazing news to share: The Planning and Zoning Board officially approved our request for food prep! Honestly, we’re still buzzing. Seeing the community show up for us like this means the world, and there’s no doubt your support helped get us over this first major hump.

What’s next?
The road is still a bit long—we have two more boards to face before we can officially fire up the kitchen. We’re currently waiting for those dates to be scheduled, but we’re heading into them with a ton of momentum.

Keep that energy coming!

At Lost Oasis Snow Tubing, we’ve built the hills and the thrills because this is Where Fun is Found. But we’ve run into a little "chilly" situation at our concession stand.

Right now, the local zoning rules have us stuck in the "Pre-Packaged Zone." 🧊

That means if you’re looking for fun, you’ll find it on our hill—but if you’re looking for a fresh, warm snack to refuel, you’ll only find things in plastic wrappers. We love a good granola bar, but after a few hours of tubing, a cold, crinkly bag isn't exactly "where fun is found," right?

We want to upgrade your snack game to include:
🥣 Fresh warm soup for those frozen fingers.
🍕 A hot slice of pizza for a quick refuel.
🌮 Walking Tacos & Nachos for the ultimate mid-tubing crunch.
🌭 A warm, juicy hot dog—the classic winter snack.

We’re heading to the Scott County Planning and Zoning Board to ask them to let us trade the plastic wrappers for warm, fresh snacks!
