Whelp friends, the ‘26 USAC National season ended this last weekend at The Western World in Casa Grande Arizona.
The results on paper sure don’t reflect how fast Chase was in the 92. Seems that dang monkey that’s followed us all season somehow managed to travel to Az too. ( we even checked the trailer before we left to make sure he wasn’t in there !!)
Friday night what had been the “norm” of pulling one of the last to qualify was replaced by going out 1st & even after the full field challenged the clock, Chase held onto sit 10th. Heat race action starting 4 th, was killer fast moving forward when another car pretty much slammed into the side, damaging nerf & side panel, causing that forward momentum to finish where he started in 4 th , but still a direct transfer to the main.
Main started 14 & Chase hustled the Moose up to 9 th, missing hard Charger by 1 spot.
Friday night that monkey really showed his nastiness… qualifying 7 th, running in a transfer spot, when The car in front checked up, Chase let off & got smashed into, and dropping 1 spot outta a transfer. Running the semi & missing the transfer , the team opted to take a provisional, starting 27 th & bringing it home in 14.. awesome drive!
Saturdays schedule were qualifying races, starting 3rd .. if ya won it, you’d be in The Dash… didn’t claim that spot but did transfer direct to the Main. Closing out the Main & the season in 16th.
Loaded her up & on the road heading to Indiana by midnight… after a couple flat tires & fuel stops pulled into the driveway about 5:15 Monday morning …
Steve, Chase,Tom & Laurie wanted to thank all the people who came by wishing the team well .. it was so great seeing so many of the teams friends & family. Tom is from Az & his family & old time buddies were there to cheer Chase on!!

Thanks to so many for checking on our travels home .Left Casa Grande Speedway, Arizona mid nite Saturday…3 fuel stops, making amazing time when we had a tire pop somewhere near Oklahoma City. about 20 minutes later..back on the road ….when then about 1 1/2 hours from home POPPED another one!!!
Chase , Steve & Tom got the tire dismounted & remounted another. ( since we only had 1 spare that was on a rim ) & off we went. Pulled into the driveway at 5:17 this morning ( Monday)

Chase Stockon is 1 of 4 champions in tonight's field at Central Arizona Raceway.

Stockon scored the 2017 WW victory over at the now-closed Arizona Speedway.

He's finished 9th & 14th over the first two nights of racing, all while advancing 18 positions in the process!

Your starting line up!! After a tough couple of nights , Chase raced his way into tonight’s Main Event. Finishing 3rd in one of tonight’s 4 qualifiers, he secured his spot in yet another Western World

Final night of Western World

For the final time in 2026, it's race day for USAC's AMSOIL National & Avanti USAC CRA Sprint Cars!

Tonight, $35,000 are on the line in the 59th running of at Central Arizona Raceway!

It's a full house with the USAC Southwest 360 Sprint Cars on the card as well!
