Some insight on drivers & their steering wheel fetishes. Good thing Chase had that extra grippie baseball tape on his as he says Saturdays tire explosion was the worse he’s felt… as that happens he gets hammered by the 2 cars behind him, resulting in the left side down tube getting bent, the valve cover squished , rear bumper smashed in too… all due to another tire episode caused by something in the track popping holes or slicing tires !!!!
Sundays “after race ritual” luckily didn’t find any rear suspension damage & after removing the squished valve cover revealed no damage to rocker arms or any internal engine damage.
Gotta tell ya this 92’s attraction to finding s**t in the track had gotta stop!!! Asides from costing us good finishes , it’s getting damn expensive!!!!

Car cleaned & serviced, damage to all that repaired & the guys have the Moose92 almost ready to make the trip to Pennsylvania!!!
( tried to forward the USAC reel about drivers & their steering wheels, just couldn’t get it to post , but it’s on my personal page , ck it out)

After chasing a slight blub blub concern for several races … a lightbulb went off in Steve & Tom’s heads….so far… so good … finger crossed!!!🤞

At least this wasn’t a USAC points race , was just credited with show up points..

Chase & the guys are anxiously awaiting the 3 nights of USAC racing at Red Hill Speedway in Sumner Illinois. Fingers crossed for no more flat tires !!
