Just a reminder - Oasis will no longer be doing Oasis Upward Basketball & Cheer leagues, so we are doing our best to share other local basketball opportunities that are available.

- Fridays: 4:30–5:30 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00–10:00 AM

- Fridays: 6:00–7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 10:30–11:30 AM

To Our Oasis Upward Family & Princeton Community,

As many of you know, after being volunteer League Directors for over 10 years, we (Emily & Jason Satterfield) announced our retirement from Oasis Upward Basketball and Cheer League at the end of the 2025-26 season this past February. We have always loved being able to serve our community in such an impactful way, but we both felt it was time for this chapter of life to come to a close.

With this news, the church took some time to decide what to do about Upward going forward. After much prayer and consideration, we have decided not to continue the program for the 2026-27 season. This may leave some of you wondering where your child can play basketball in the future. The Toyota Indiana YMCA launched youth basketball leagues this spring and they are also offering summer clinics for ages 7-17. In addition, Princeton Tigers Youth Basketball has fall rec leagues for North Gibson students in grades K-4. If any local pastor has interest or questions about starting an Upward league for your church, we would be more than happy to offer advice and any resources we have. Feel free to reach out to us via Messenger or email.

To the coaches, referees, concession & custodial workers, and everyone else who volunteered in any way through the years, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to build and run a successful program. What started as a tiny group of fewer than 30 kids grew to nearly 300 and we could not have done it without you!

To every player and cheerleader, many of you whom we watched grow up from elementary to high school, it was a great honor and privilege to be a part of your life and to get to know you and your families. We hope you’ll remember the lessons you learned from Upward for years to come and apply them to your life as you get older. When you see us out and about please be sure to stop and say hi!

And remember, it was always about more than just sports.
