What a season. ❤️🥎
The 2026 PikeView Lady Panthers made history by becoming the first softball team in school history to reach the WV State Tournament. This group represented PikeView with pride, determination, and class every step of the way.
During tournament play, the Lady Panthers fell to Herbert Hoover in the first round and then had a historic victory over Brooke before battling a talented Keyser team and coming up just short in a heartbreaking walk-off finish.
The accomplishments and bonds created along the way will last forever. Thank you to our players, coaches, families, students, staff, and community for your unwavering support throughout this incredible journey.
History was made. Records were broken. These memories will last a lifetime!
We are proud of every member of this team and grateful for a season that will never be forgotten. Can't wait to see what next season brings! ❤️🖤🥎

The PikeView Lady Panthers picked up their first-ever WVSSAC State Tournament victory, defeating Brooke 4-1 on Tuesday evening!

The Panthers collected 8 hits and used a dominant performance in the circle from Shelby Maddox, who tossed a complete-game two-hitter with 12 strikeouts, allowing just one run while earning the win.

Offensively, PikeView was led by:
🔥 Lauren Lambert – 2-for-3, triple, 2 RBI
🔥 Annie White – 2-for-3, 2 doubles, RBI
🔥 Shelby Maddox – 1-for-3, run scored
🔥 Emma Compton – 1-for-3, run scored
🔥 Emma Weiss – 1-for-3
🔥 Taylor Wright – 1-for-3 double

The Lady Panthers broke through with a three-run 5th inning and played solid defense behind Maddox's 12-strikeout performance.

Sophomore Shelby Maddox collected her 600th career strikeout with tonight's win!

🏆 HISTORY MADE! 🥎❤️🖤

The PikeView Lady Panthers are the AAA Region 3 Co-Champions and are headed to the WV State Tournament for the FIRST time in school history!

PikeView defeated Greenbrier East 7-5 on Saturday to punch their ticket to Charleston and improve to 22-6 on the season.

Emma Weiss delivered the biggest hit of the night with a grand slam home run in the 3rd inning — the first home run of her career!

At the plate, PikeView collected 8 hits led by Emma Weiss, Emma Compton, Lauren Lambert, Taylor Wright, Bella Delida, and Kaci Fine. Delida added 2 RBIs in the win.

In the circle, Shelby Maddox was dominant, striking out 11 batters in a complete game performance.

This team continues to make history and Panther Nation could not be more proud!

Clear your calendars for tonight! Our Lady Panthers host the Regional Co-Final tonight against the Lady Spartans of Greenbrier East.

We want every seat and every spot along the fence filled! Bring the family to the ballpark and cheer on the Panthers. These young ladies have worked very hard for this moment, let's show them our support!

The Lady Panthers are now 2-0 in regional play and move to 21-6 on the season with an exciting walkoff win over Greenbrier East!

The two Emmas came up huge tonight at the plate— Emma Compton started the scoring with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 3rd, and Emma Weiss delivered the game-winner with a deep shot to the left-center fence for the walkoff victory!

PikeView returns to action Saturday against the winner of Greenbrier East and Nicholas County. Go Panthers! ❤️🖤🥎

PikeView Softball moves to 20-6 on the season and 1-0 in regional play after a dominant 16-0 win over Capital in 5 innings Tuesday night! The Lady Panthers collected 13 hits and played a complete game on both sides of the ball. 🐾🥎
