Stonecrest RC Flyers

Stonecrest RC Flyers We are a radio controlled flying club chartered with the Academy of Model Aeronautics. We fly Planes, Helicopters, Multi-rotors, Gliders and more.

We have toilet facilities and a 48' shelter. Our grass runway is over 400 feet long and 50 feet wide. We have multiple 12 volt charging stations located beneath the shelter and plenty of parking. We have room for campers during special events if you are flying with us and wish to camp ,but no hook ups. We offer introductory flights as well as flight instruction by AMA authorized flight instructors

. There is no charge for introductory flight or training however you will be required to join the Academy of Model Aeronautics if you decide you want to continue to fly. There is never a fee to visit and watch our pilots but If you decide to Join the club and fly with us there are annual dues of $50 to help cover the cost of the toilet and site maintenance and other club expenses. AMA Membership is required for all club members who fly. Their website is http://www.modelaircraft.org


We are located at the end of Meff road (past the water tower near the Stonecrest Golf Course). We have signs at the entrance of Meff road and at the city gate. Ignore the "no trespassing" sign if you are coming to the field. At the big Blue rock (You can't miss it on the right), bare left and continue to the field.
