In just two months, South Dakota HOSA will host the State Leadership Conference on April 16–17 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
This annual event brings together HOSA members from across the state for leadership development, competitive events, service, and career exploration in healthcare.
Registration for SLC is due March 10.
Advisors are encouraged to ensure students are registered and prepared ahead of the deadline.
We look forward to another impactful conference for South Dakota’s future health professionals.

Online Testing Registration EXTENDED!
If you're wanting to compete in a testing-only SLC competitive event, you now have until Friday, February 13 to register for your event and SLC. For those already registered, Online Testing is OPEN NOW until March 9. Make sure to work with your HOSA advisor to get your tests proctored and completed before the deadline. Registration for any other HOSA event (skills, on-site, round two, etc.) or for any advisor, chaperone, and guests is open until March 10.

With only 70 days until the SD HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Sioux Falls, here are your friendly deadline reminders coming up this month. All further details can be seen on the SD HOSA website at sdhosa.com.
1. Research which competitive event or events you want to compete in at SLC. You can compete in up to three events at State: one online only event and up to two on site or skill events, as long as they are in different categories.
2. If you are competing in a testing only event, you must be registered for SLC by Feb 9. Talk to your advisor and make sure you’re registered. For non-testing only events, SLC registration is March 10.
3. If you’re applying for an SD HOSA State Officer position, make sure your application and online test are completed by Feb 13.
4. For high school seniors, the SD HOSA Scholarship application is due by Feb 28.
5. If you are competing in a testing only event, the online test must be completed by March 9.
