Greetings!

Many of you have taken the Life Mastery and Emotional Well-Being Program with great success, and many others have inquired about it or noticed the reviews from those that have taken it. (A very special one of those reviews is included below.) I wanted you to know that the existing Life Mastery and Emotional Well-Being Program is being permanently discontinued next month.

The existing course is pretty straightforward. You receive 2 emails each week for 3 months and a number of included coaching appointments during that same period. The emails provide short lessons and thought-provoking ideas, and are designed to help you 1) get to know yourself better, 2) love and accept yourself more, and 3) gain some perspective on how to make desired changes in your life that have been difficult for you to make. The coaching sessions are to assist you both with the lessons, as well as to address your specific current life goals, desires and challenges.

If it’s been a few years since you’ve done the program it’s sure worthwhile to take it again, you’re sure to gain a lot of growth and new insights from this new place that you’re in (and you’ll be happy to know that I listened to many of you and the “Explorations” questionnaires have been greatly reduced). If you haven’t taken the course yet, this will be your last chance to experience it.

“Scott, you asked me what I still wanted to accomplish. I actually thought first about what I have already accomplished (a lot). I know I will have to work at not slipping back but I feel that I have a very good foundation. Here are some things I have accomplished so far in this course, and it’s not done yet:
Seeing anger as an emotion and dealing with it. I'm in control.
Letting go of fear. I feel only love and compassion when I look at my family members. I no longer feel anger.
I now understand the law of attraction and positive thinking and work daily on thought patterns that work for me.
I now understand and regularly use the power of breathing and meditation tools.
Significant decrease in worry.
Increased self-care. Resting, reading, diet, exercise, watching a little comedy TV in the middle of the day for a good laugh. I have let go of doing everything for everyone.
I give myself the gift of me time everyday to meditate and go over/practice what I have learned.
I now embrace my imperfections.
I have let go of the negative past. I am rewriting those old stories.
I have the knowledge that I am in charge of how I feel/deal with things/emotions.
I have changed being judgmental to being compassionate.
I now practice daily gratitude.
I let go of perfection.
I realize and accept that challenges have a purpose.
I remember your words: "Don't attempt to offer more gifts of love than you can afford"
I am striving for inner peace, working to remain calm and centered.
I have forgiven family members for their actions, and I am rewriting those stories with compassion. (I'm still working on this, not sure where it’s going to land, but I don't feel anger any longer, just compassion for whatever paths they have chosen).
I choose to be healthy and happy!”

If 3 months seems like a large commitment, please realize that most of what you will learn and grow from in this course has likely been limiting you for the greater part of your life, and traditional therapy can potentially last 12 to 18 months or longer for you to make these types of changes.

Why is this program being discontinued? I’ve been working on a new set of Apps, compatible with both phones and laptops. The new Apps will be released this summer, and when they are the previous courses will go away. The new Apps will be very different, and I think very useful and helpful, in new and different ways. Note that they’ll be set up much more in an “a-la-carte” fashion though, and to include all that the previous course includes will be more costly. The original course is much more complete and covers much more ground.

Have you ever really contemplated this? How many of your struggles were just "picked up" because as a child you were in someone's close proximity that struggled? There's ways to find these things and let them go. They do weigh you down, limit you, and cause you (and your loved ones) pain. Time to let them go?

I was a young single parent. I really tried to be kind and gentle. Loving, understanding. And then something like this would occur at the end of a long, hard day, or when we were late in the morning, and I’d hear myself. And I’d see the hurt in her face, and the tears. I felt terrible, and I remember going into counseling and working on it, but until we have quite bit of maturity and growth on board, feeling terrible for a parent on the inside can manifest as making excuses, over-explaining, and “doubling down” on why it was such a problem to them on the outside.

Then one day, I did it again. And I heard myself. Only this time instead of the hurt on her face, or tears, I saw that she went blank. The hurt was too much for her little person to handle. So she did what many do when the hurt’s too much, she checked out. It was too painful to feel, so in that moment, her little being just shut off all feeling.

I watched her struggle with aspects of this for many years. I hated when this was done to me, and I remember that it made me struggle more. Drop more, spill more, break more, out of nervousness and fear. And yet I put my precious daughter through the same thing by just not dealing with more of my s**t earlier.

Cleaning the milk up will take you maybe 2 minutes. Cleaning up your harsh responses could take him a lifetime.

I can't stress the power of this intention. Please consider stating this a couple times each day for the next 60 days. Put post-its next to your bed. On your steering wheel. Have an alarm go off on your phone a couple times each day, and just think about this intention.

We put so much negative into our future with our fears, angers, past experiences. Our thoughts are paving the way for our futures at all times. What if you were to intend, every day, that out of all situations, only good comes. Only good comes for you, for your loved ones, for your troubled friend, for your coworkers...

It's impossible for us to have only good in our lives. That's not what these lives are about. They're about growth, gaining more compassion, experiencing love, and a whole lot more. But what if only good came out of every one of those lessons, out of all growth you experience, and every challenge you face? This intention has the power to bring more well-being to you, your life, and everyone's lives around you than you can believe.

I love you. May only good come out of every experience and situation in your life. today, tomorrow and every day.

“Regarding the “How to Pivot” steps you gave me. I have been able now (on many occasions) to ‘pivot’, and calm down enough to resolve the situation. I’m making this progress now as a senior, and I’ve struggled with these challenges since I was a young girl.
I've tried coaching 3 times before you, and this 4th time was the charm. I almost didn't try working with you, but I'm so glad I did. This is very different, I'm successful this time! Thank you.”

"I’ve been working with you for less than 4 months and here’s where I’m at:
When we began I was frequently very low. Now I’m somewhere near 9.2 on a scale of 1-10 for joy and serenity.

I was able to handle several problems thrown at me today (mostly work related) with grace and finesse.

My self-care is immensely better. Today I Meditated, worked out, and did some self-exploration.

I’m doing what I wanted to do when I came to you. I’m feeling more confident socially, even chatted with guys online. At work I showed more care for others, made confident decisions, took criticism, embraced it, let it go, and moved on.

I did several periods of gratitude today.

I did one of your meditations this morning, and began it annoyed because I had received an unwanted work communication before it. Through the power of the meditation I was able to move through my emotions pretty quick, got curious, then became optimistic and reached joy!

Right now I’m really thankful for my serenity."
