Four Lady Hurricanes spent Saturday putting in work at The Expo: Louisiana with Prep Girls Hoops!

These four took the floor alongside some of the top talent from across the state, competing, getting reps, and putting their game on display in front of scouts and evaluators.

The Lady Hurricanes officially kicked off the 2026-2027 season Friday with a few hours by the pool, plenty of laughs, and time together away from the basketball court.

Days like this are part of the process of building a 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 team. 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 begins when everyone understands that the 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 comes before everything else. We’re continuing to 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 something bigger than a basketball team: a 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 rooted in 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 that extend beyond the court. Ordinary teams do ordinary things. 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 programs are willing to do what others won’t, and that work starts long before the opening tip.

We can’t wait to watch this group grow, compete, and chase everything they’re capable of. Here’s to an 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 season!
