🏁 Race Recap – South Boston Speedway 🏁

Last night was a night of perseverance, determination, and never giving up.

We struggled during practice trying to find the right balance in the car and ultimately qualified 11th—far from where we wanted to be. In the first race, we continued to battle handling issues and weren't able to make the progress we had hoped for. With just 3 laps to go, we were caught up in an incident and sent into the wall, resulting in a 14th-place finish.

Between races, our team worked hard to put the car back together and make adjustments to give Dan a better car for Race 2. Starting 14th, Dan absolutely drove the wheels off the car. He pushed it beyond what we felt the car was capable of, avoided multiple wrecks, and even overcame another hit from behind during the race.

Dan put on an incredible display of side-by-side racing, spending much of the race battling on the high side and making smart, calculated moves. Despite still not having the handling we were looking for, he found speed where there shouldn't have been any and brought the car home in an impressive 2nd-place finish.

We're incredibly proud of the effort from everyone involved. While we still have work to do to get the car where we want it, nights like this remind us what determination, hard work, and smart driving can accomplish.

What a shock to read this. Our hearts go out to his family and the whole racing community. He was a fierce competitor like no other. Rest easy.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

This Friday, May 16th at South Boston Speedway, Dan Rogers Racing will be honoring all of the brave men and women who serve our country for Armed Forces Day 🇺🇸

As a proud military family, this race means so much to us. Our son SPC Reynolds serves in the United States Army, and we could not be more proud. He is our hero. ❤️

To all active duty military, veterans, and military families — thank you for your sacrifice, strength, and service. We race this weekend in honor of YOU.

Feeling Thankful after the night we had Saturday to still be 3rd in points.

𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃: 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃. ↔️ After a P2 run on Saturday, Drew Dawson has lengthened his Budweiser Limited Sportsman points lead.

The field shouldn't fret, though. Remember, there's a drop race this year.
