One of the things I like about this TPI drill is how simple it is. You start swinging and try to beat your previous speed each time. If you don't, that's a strike. Three strikes and you're done.

It gives us a quick look at where your swing speed is today compared to the speed you're capable of producing when you keep pushing. It's a simple way to establish a baseline and see how much speed might already be there before we start trying to make changes.

Try it the next time you're at the range or somewhere you can measure club speed. If you want to dig deeper, come out to Swing Data Lab and we'll use the simulator and cameras to see what changes as you start swinging faster.

Swing Data Lab is mobile.

You don’t have to come to the Lab to get objective data on how you move and perform. I can bring TPI movement screening, K-Coach 3D swing analysis, and VALD strength testing directly to your golf course, gym, team facility, or training space.

For golfers, teams, coaches, gyms, and other rotational athletes, I can set up on-site and give you measurable data to help identify where performance can improve.

Want to bring an assessment session to your facility or group? Send me a message or visit https://www.swingdatalab.com and let’s set up a date.

When you bring your kids to closest to the pin event and the 15 yr old gets an ACE the first time and the next time the 8 year old sticks it to 4 inches.

Swing Data Lab can help you build more Distance and Consistency throughout your game. With a background coaching at First Tee and a father of three, junior development is a big part of what I do.

And parents, there’s nothing stopping you from hanging around during their lesson and picking up a few things yourself. https://youtube.com/shorts/JBKN0PBKCsI?si=Qv_aUbaOvXUHeKdp 😂

4th: 305.6 yards with a stock Vice driver.

The leaderboard is fun, but what I enjoy most is helping other golfers find more distance in their own game. Many don't need to swing harder to find more speed. Using data to understand how your equipment and proper movement work together unlocks distance hiding in your game.

That's the goal at Swing Data Lab. Measure what matters, make informed changes, and help every golfer hit it farther with confidence.

People often ask why Swing Data Lab operates from a private performance studio instead of a retail storefront.

The answer is simple. The vision has never been to build another simulator business. It's to build a better way for rotational athletes to improve.

Golf was the foundation because that's where my coaching journey began through TPI and the PGA. What I discovered is that the same principles apply well beyond golf. Every rotational athlete benefits from understanding how their body moves, produces force, and transfers energy before creating a plan to improve.

Swing Data Lab was built around one belief: better decisions come from better information. Objective performance data doesn't replace great coaching. It gives athletes and coaches the confidence to focus on what matters most.

Measure. Assess. Coach.

An example straight From the source at TPI.

Shoulder mobility influences how your body can move throughout the golf swing. Before making swing changes, you need to know if the body is capable of producing the movement.

That's why we assess before we coach. Find the limitation first, then build the solution.

Have you ever worked with a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) professional?

The assessments identify how your body moves. The real improvement comes from the drills and routines that address the limitations uncovered.

This change of direction drill is one example. It helps improve how you load, transition, and produce force that transfers into your golf swing. https://cdn.jwplayer.com/previews/2o21GRpb?exp=1783293494&sig=b16a2e802fb8973d0ee2371ae22b66a3
