T-ball and 8U baseball forms will be sent out at school this week.

T-ball is in need of a second head coach.

8U baseball will only be offered if we have enough players, coaches, and volunteers to help prepare the field.

As of right now we have enough kids signed up for a few k-2nd teams and a few 3rd-4th grade teams. We are in need of coaches for 3rd-4th teams, if interested please let us know. We have a few K-2nd coaches, including myself (Justin) and Tyler Mandich.

We will be starting on September 29th for practice. Tyler is working on getting a Team Reach page added. Hopefully soon we will have more information, as we've been getting a bunch of questions. One question we can answer is all flag football activities will take place on Sunday afternoons at the football field in Powhatan. Times aren't set yet, but they will not start before 1pm.

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce sign-ups for Powhatan Jr. Sports Flag Football, open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

To register, simply click the link below and complete the form—it only takes a few minutes. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible so we can determine if we have enough interest to move forward.
• Practices: Planned to begin later this month
• Games: Scheduled to start in October
• we also will need volunteers to help coach if we get alot of interest
Please feel free to share this information with families at River Elementary as well.

Participation fees will be $50 per child OR $40 per child of more than 1 from same home plays.

That money will go towards a shirt and help buy equipment to help us get started. Fees will be due the first day of practice.
