Congrats to our Girls !

The team took 3rd overall out of 47 teams - AMAZING!!! First Team placement for Girls Wrestling in Powell History.

Placements:
Caydee Eden - 3rd Place (100 LBS)
Avery LeBlanc - 5th Place (105 LBS)
Allison LeBlanc - CHAMPION (110 lbs) First in Powell History
Eleasah Horsley - 4th Place (115 lbs)
Nalani Jordan - 2nd Place ( 140 lbs)

Congrats girls!!! You are all amazing!

All season Coach Horsley told them they were out there tackling Giants everywhere they went (even had a special team shirt made with this) and they did just that again at State. Showing their grit and determination. These brackets were stacked with talent, each girl showed up and did great!

Powell had great sucess at Regionals this weekend placing 5th overall as a team with 5 girls qualifying for state and 4 in the finals.

🥈Caydee Eden - 100 lbs - 2nd Place
Avery LeBlanc - 105 lbs - top 6
🥇Allison LeBlanc -110 lbs- 1st Place Champion
🥈Eleasah Horsley - 115 lbs - 2nd Place
🥈Nalani Jordan - 140 lbs - 2nd Place

Aubry Blount, Elora Joy, Stella Schmidtberger & Ellidi Joy - DNP

Top 8 in each bracket punch their ticket to state and regionals only does placing rounds for the top 4 in each bracket.

STATE BOUND for these 5 girls! Congrats Caydee, Avery, Allison, Eleasah and Nalani! We are very proud of you!

Admission is $9/Adult & $6/STUDENT

Saturday Matches begin at 10 am

COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR POWELL PANTHER LADY WRESTLERS!!!! THEY ARE CRUSHING IT THIS YEAR AND YOUR COMUNITY SUPPORT MEANS EVERYTHING TO THEM.
