Today, Hoya Youth Lacrosse honors the Indigenous Peoples who created and have carried forward the game of lacrosse for generations.

Known by many Indigenous communities as the Creator’s Game, lacrosse has deep roots in Indigenous culture, tradition, community, and spirituality. What we love about this game today is connected to a rich history that deserves to be recognized, respected, and celebrated.

As Hoyas, we believe lacrosse is about more than wins and losses. It’s about teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and being part of something bigger than ourselves.

Today, we honor the Native American communities who gave us this incredible game and continue to preserve its traditions and legacy. 💚🥍

Respect the roots. Honor the game. Carry the legacy forward.

🥍 FEARLESS FRIDAY! 🥍

Nothing says fearless like a goalie standing tall and going toe-to-toe with the opposing offense! 🥅💪 It takes courage, focus, and a whole lot of heart to protect that crease.

Here’s to one of our fearless Hoya goalies, putting it all on the line and showing what it means to be the last line of defense!

Hoya heart. Fearless play. All heart, all game!

🏆 Happy National Coaches Day! 🏆

Today we celebrate the coaches who do so much more than teach the game.

You’re the ones who show up early, stay late, teach the fundamentals, push athletes when they want to give up, celebrate the wins, help them learn from the losses, and remind them that character matters just as much as the scoreboard.

You coach athletes through the game, but you also help shape the people they become beyond the field.

Behind every team are coaches who pour countless hours, energy, patience, and passion into helping young athletes grow.

To every coach who has invested in our athletes — thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the field, and your influence will last long after the final whistle.

Happy National Coaches Day!

We appreciate you. We celebrate you. And most importantly, we thank you for believing in our athletes. 💙

🥍 MINI STIX, BIG PROGRESS! 🥍

Lacrosse fundamentals are so important, and these Kindergarten & 1st Grade kiddos are putting in the work! 💙

They show up to practice, learn the basics, work hard, and then bring those skills to game day. Every pass, ground ball, dodge, and defensive play is another step forward. 💪

On Saturday, the Mini Stix took on Milton and showed just how much those practices are paying off! Watching these young players grow, build confidence, and learn to love the game is what youth lacrosse is all about. 🥍🔥

Keep working, Mini Stix! The future is bright! ⭐
