We’re excited to welcome TRS Sports Skills Club to Ward Recreation Center!

Therapeutic Recreation is bringing this fun, inclusive sports program to our facility to give even more children the opportunity to get active, build confidence, and enjoy the game.

Designed for children with disabilities, Sports Skills Club focuses on:

Teamwork
Sportsmanship
Exercise
Most importantly—FUN!

1. FREE Beginner Workshop – Friday, Aug 28 (6:30–8:30 PM). Registration required!
2. Pickleball Machine Boot Camp – Thursdays, Sept 17 – Oct 22 (9:45–10:45 AM). $10/class.
3. Pickleball Level I Lessons – Sept 15 – Oct 20 (8:30–9:30 AM). $65 for 6 weeks.

The curtain closed on Summer Camp 2026 with our favorite tradition, the annual Talent Show!

We couldn't be prouder of the amazing talent, courage, and joy our campers brought to the stage.

Our summer may be over, but we went out with a bang!

Our Annual Talent Show had the crowd cheering and ended with an incredible THREE-WAY TIE! Our champions took home trophies, and we wrapped up the day with ice cream sundaes from the Lost Mountain Kiwanis Club, loaded with every topping you could imagine.

Thank you to all of our amazing campers, families, staff, and community partners for making this an unforgettable summer!
