We had an incredibly productive day at the Historic Lown Garden. We had volunteers from FDR gardening club and Vassar Students from The Preserve at Vassar. We are so grateful for the help. We weeded all pathways and then put down wood chips in all the pathways.

College Hill Park and the historic Lown Garden sustained some damage during the July 4th storm!

We had a very productive gardening day yesterday. We were joined by 6 Vassar College interns and their mentor, our Master gardener and 3 regulars.

Shannon Butler, Poughkeepsie P***c Library District Historian gave her 1st History walking tour of College Hill Park. It was a huge success and we are hoping it will become a regular tour!

We had a productive day of gardening at the entrance garden on North Clinton St and surveying the historic Lown Rock Garden near the Dudley shelter. Luckily the rain stopped soon after we arrived.

We secured a table at the Detination Dutchess Brochure day event held at Waryas Park pavilion, continuing to promote awareness about this historic Poughkeepsie park.
