When’s the last time you threw a throw rope to a swimmer? Used the quick-release tether on your PDF? Practiced a group wade in current? Unpinned a boat?
Rescue skills need regular practice so they are intuitive when it matters most. Whether it’s your first rescue course you’ve been training for years, join PSI for our line up of spring SWR courses:
➡️ April 25-26: SWR Greatest Hits is a perfect introductory course or an annual refresher. Learn and drill the most practical rescue skills: boat-based rescue, wading, swimming, throw ropes, boat unpinning, tethered rescue and more!
➡️ May 16-17: Women’s Rescue is taught by SWR Instructors Laura Kurup and Karyna Todd. This course is open to all women, nonbinary and trans folk to create a training environment where can challenge each other and level up our skills together.
➡️ April 10-12 and May 15-17: SWR Instructor courses prepare you to teach rescue by going deep across multiple skills. You’ll spend time on (and in) whitewater as we learn to structure safe and impactful rescue courses.
