Summer is busy, especially after the season, but we were able to get our banquet in despite missing a few kids. It’s always nice to get together with the kids and families to have some dinner and celebrate the goals that were accomplished, the kids and their efforts all season, and set more goals for the off season.

Postville Families and Students -
Next Sunday, July 26th, marks the beginning of the Iowa High School Activities Non-Contact Family Week for the Summer of 2026. This annual Non-Contact Family Week will begin on Sunday, July 26th, and run through Sunday, August 2nd. During this time, there will be no activities within the Postville Community School District. This is to include the weight room, strength and conditioning times, open gyms / open mats, camps, 7 on 7's, clinics, lessons, meetings, etc.

Pirate Players and Families -
Please mark your calendars for Monday July 20th at 5:00 and plan to join us at the baseball field for our end-of-season banquet. This is a busy and relaxing time of summer so we understand if you can not make it, but we would like to get together one last time before Dead Week and Fall sports. This will be a potluck style dinner. The coaches will provide Hotdogs and Hamburgers as the main dish. We look forward to seeing everyone there! If there is any interest in a parent vs kids softball / pumpkin ball game let me know and comment below and we can make it happen.

Players - also please bring any uniform pieces you have to turn in.

Pirates fall to Columbus Catholic tonight 0-7 ending the 2026 season. Throughout this years campaign there were even more goals accomplished and higher expectations set on the players in order to continue to move the program forward. As a coaching staff we couldn’t be more proud of every player and the growth and work that was put in to this season. We will continue to work to get better and improve on the things we need to improve on in order to come back stronger and better next season.
