Brianda Nuñez is a junior majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Psychology. As a first-generation student, Brianda knows the value of pursuing a higher education. Her ultimate goal is to work in the creative industry and to give back to her community. Brianda is part of the student group Las Mujeres, a women's empowerment and support group, and serves as its Advertising Manager. In addition,
she is a member of M.E.Ch.A., a Chicano empowerment student group. Currently, she is in-training to become a Resident Assistant for the 2014-2015 academic year. She is also an avid volunteer and loves to spend her time helping others. Accolades include being a Diversity Scholar, a President's Equal Access Scholar, an alumni of New Leadership Oregon, and recently, a Graphic Design Scholarship Awardee. Her main mission is to voice the opinions, concerns, wishes, and desires of the art students in the art building and the Latin@/Chican@ population. Yet her end goal is to bridge communities together and have collective partnerships transpire.
