Scotch On The Rocks Tournament brought to by Striking Oil Bowling Pro Shop( Bowl)
When: February 15, 2026
Where: Bayside Bowl, Portland, ME.
Start time: 9:00 AM
Check-in: 8:00 AM
Max field: 32 doubles teams (adult only)
Cost: $100 per team (cash at event)
The tournament that you love is back! Once again adding to the fun of your Valentine’s Day weekend is Scotch On The Rocks! The Rocks is a scotch doubles style (alternate shot) tournament. On each team one bowler will roll a shot, then your partner throws the next shot, either picking up the spare you left, or trying for a double! If your partner doesn’t strike, you have to pick up their spare, and so on for the rest of the tournament. Remember whom rolled the last ball in the previous game because the other partner rolls the first ball in the next game. This tournament is an absolute blast, and having this doubles event near Valentine’s Day just suits!
Teams will bowl (6) games of qualifying followed by an (8) team single elimination scotch game bracket final. 1 in 4 teams will make the cut, based on (32) entries!
