At Coyote Creek Recovery & Wellness, we believe horses can become powerful partners in the healing process—helping people explore grief, anxiety, trauma, relationships, confidence and some of life’s hardest transitions.

Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with finding the right words.

Sometimes it begins standing quietly beside a horse.

Sometimes the hardest part begins after the treatment ends.

The appointments slow down. Everyone tells you how wonderful it is that you’re “done.” You’re expected to move forward.

But somewhere in the back of your mind can live a quiet question:

“What if it comes back?”

At Coyote Creek Recovery & Wellness, we understand that healing is more than physical. It can also mean learning how to live fully again without allowing fear to steal the days you fought so hard to have.

Our horses don’t worry about tomorrow. They meet us exactly where we are, in the present moment—and sometimes that is exactly where healing needs to begin.

You survived more than cancer. Now you deserve the chance to reclaim your peace, your joy, and your life. 🐴🩷

🎉🐴 WE’VE PASSED 100 STUDENTS! 🐴🎉

There’s something exciting happening at Coyote Creek Sporthorses, and we couldn’t be happier to share it!

Under the leadership of our Head Trainer, Emma Baki, our English Riding Lesson Program has grown to OVER 100 STUDENTS! 💯👏

More than 100 riders are now coming through our program to learn, develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the love of horses.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, patience, and heart Emma brings to her students and to the growth of the program every day. ❤️

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful riders and families who have chosen to make Coyote Creek part of their lives. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without you!

Congratulations, Emma! More than 100 students and still growing! 🎉🐎

We can’t wait to see what comes next for Coyote Creek Sporthorses! ❤️

Bella said, “Oh, we’re jumping today? I’ve got this!” 😂🐴💨

Look at this girl having the BEST time going over the jumps! There’s nothing better than seeing a horse feeling happy, confident, and proud of herself.

Go, Bella, go! ♥️🐴

Sometimes you’re just so happy you can’t contain it! 😂🐴💨

Bella was feeling GOOD today and decided it was time for a serious case of the pony zoomies!

That little burst of pure joy is one of the best things about horses. ❤️

Go, Bella, go! 🐎

There’s just something special about evenings at Coyote Creek. 🐴🌅

A quiet ride around the pond, horses beneath you, the day beginning to settle, and nowhere else you need to be.

These are the moments our riders will remember—the peaceful ones. ❤️

Life is pretty good from the back of a horse.

🐴❤️ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A FEW VERY SPECIAL HORSES

Coyote Creek Recovery and Wellness is looking for safe, sound, English-trained lesson horses and ponies to be donated to our nonprofit program.

We are not looking for retired horses. We are looking for horses that are currently able and happy to work in a lesson program and would thrive with a meaningful job, excellent care, and lots of attention.

Our ideal horses are:

🐴 Safe, sensible and forgiving
🐴 English trained
🐴 Currently sound and able to work
🐴 Experienced in a lesson program or suitable for lessons
🐴 Comfortable with beginner through intermediate riders
🐴 Well-mannered on the ground
🐴 Patient and trustworthy
🐴 Horses or ponies that genuinely enjoy people and having a job

Maybe you’re downsizing your program, your child has outgrown a beloved horse, you’re stepping away from ownership, or you simply want to know that a special horse will be well cared for, appreciated and given an important purpose.

Our horses receive exceptional daily care, quality nutrition, regular veterinary and farrier care, beautiful facilities, and plenty of individual attention.

In return, these special horses will help us teach children and adults about riding, horsemanship, confidence, responsibility and the incredible connection between horses and people.

If you have a wonderful English lesson horse or pony that you would consider donating—or know someone who might—please send me a private message.

We aren’t looking for just any horse. We’re looking for the special ones—the safe, kind horses who have so much to teach. ❤️

Please share. 🐴
