🚨🚨🚨Attention Portales Gus Macker Tournament Players🚨🚨🚨

Due to equipment damage on site Friday June 26 as a result of an evening weather event, the Portales Gus Macker will begin at 10:00 am Saturday morning, June 27.

Registration opens at 8:30. Games start at 10. No opening ceremonies.

We will see you on the courts tomorrow! There’s still a lot of basketball to be played.

🏀 Gus Macker Weekend is Here! Let's Keep It Safe, Fun & Family-Friendly!☀️

We're excited to welcome players, families, and fans for an incredible weekend of basketball! Please help us make this a safe and enjoyable event for everyone by following these important reminders:

🚗 Drive Slowly– There will be hundreds of players, children, and spectators walking throughout the campus.

🗑️Keep the Campus Clean– Please use the trash receptacles provided and help us leave the venue looking great.

🤝 Respect the Game– Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. **There is zero tolerance for fighting or disruptive behavior.** Anyone involved in an altercation may be removed from the event.

🚫 No fi****ms or weapons.

🚫 No ma*****na or illegal drugs.

⛺ Canopies are welcome, but please do not place them in grassy areas or use stakes in the asphalt.Use canopy weights to secure your tent instead.

❤️ Thank you for helping us create a safe, welcoming, and fun atmosphere for everyone.

🚨 **GUS MACKER PORTALES – IMPORTANT WEEKEND INFORMATION!** 🚨

The wait is almost over! Here are a few important reminders before tip-off:

📍 Registration
✅ Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
✅ If you can't make it Friday, registration will reopen on Saturday at 7:00 AM.

🪪 Don't Forget!
All players must bring birth verification or a government-issued ID for registration.

🦺 Referees
The Referee Meeting will be held on-site at the courts at 6:00 PM (please note: it is NO LONGER at the Chamber!)

🏀Opening Ceremonies
Join us at 8:00 AM SHARP on Saturday! Games will begin immediately following.

☀️ Beat the Heat
It's going to be a HOT weekend! Be sure to bring:
💧 Plenty of water
🧴 Sunscreen
🧢 A hat and anything else you need to stay cool!
⛺️A canopy & chairs

Gus Macker Portales is looking for a volunteer medic to help staff our Medical Tent this weekend!

🏀 Saturday, June 27 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🏀 Sunday, June 28 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

If you're an EMT, nurse, paramedic, physician, athletic trainer, or other qualified medical professional and can donate a few hours of your time, we'd love to hear from you!
