We are proud of Taylor Collins ’33 ( Comsewogue Youth) and Kylie Shields ’33 ( Riverhead Youth) for representing their communities and Lax On Elite at the WLL Junior tryouts.

At Lax On Elite, we prepare athletes for more than their next game. We develop the skill, confidence and competitive mindset they need to enter new environments, embrace challenges and pursue the opportunities shaping the future of lacrosse.

Thank you to the WLL and PLL for creating visible pathways that bring the next generation closer to the professional women’s game.

When youth development and the professional game invest in the same future, the entire sport grows stronger. That is the kind of work and the kind of collaboration we believe moves women’s lacrosse forward.

2,977 lives. One life behind every number.

Today, we remember them all.

And as a lacrosse community, we carry the story of Welles Remy Crowther, a Boston College lacrosse player, volunteer firefighter, and the young man survivors came to know simply as “The Man in the Red Bandanna.”

On September 11, 2001, Welles chose to go back.

Again and again, he helped lead others to safety from the South Tower. His courage saved lives. He was 24 years old.

Most of the athletes we coach today weren’t alive on September 11. That makes our responsibility to tell these stories even greater.

Not because Welles played our game.Because of the way he lived when courage, service and selflessness mattered most.

May we teach the next generation to know his name, carry his example, and remember all 2,977 lives lost that day.

Another day, another accolade for Addison Scott ’28. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Addison has officially earned a 3 Star rating from Inside Lacrosse Women in its Class of 2028 player ratings.

Add it to an already impressive resume: All State Sixth Team, All County as a sophomore, Best in Class, High School Nationals All Tournament Team, New Balance All America – Long Island and a US Club Lacrosse 4-Star rating.

Different platforms. Different evaluations. One thing continues to be consistent is Addison is earning recognition wherever she competes.

2028 RECRUITING WATCH | SAMANTHA OLIN 🩵

Versatility is a weapon.

Samantha Olin is a 2028 midfielder/attacker from Connetquot High School who brings athleticism, competitiveness and versatility to the field.

Sam can impact the game from multiple spots offensively and through the midfield. Her ability to contribute in different roles comes from an athletic foundation built across three sports: lacrosse, soccer and basketball.

And she knows how to compete when it matters.
