We have wrapped up our time here at the NHSCA Nationals! Laniya fought hard today and made it in the top 12 before losing her final match of the day. She has faced opponents from all over the country and represented our school well! Thank you to everyone that’s been so supportive of her! Now to prepare for next year!

Good Morning! Day 1 at NHSCA Nationals starts at 8am EDT, and we are thrilled to announce that Laniya is currently ranked FIFTH IN THE NATION in her weight class. She’s making South Pontotoc and the state of Mississippi proud!

Laniya has made it to Virginia! She can’t wait to represent South Pontotoc in the NHSCA Nationals! Wish her luck!

Now she wants to show everyone what she can do on the national stage, and she needs help getting there!

And that’s a wrap for Individual State! This season has been a great one, and we are so proud of ALL our wrestlers! We brought 4 boys and 8 girls to state with 3 reaching the podium. We also have our FIRST FEMALE STATE CHAMPION for South Pontotoc! Laniya Ware won the 235lb weight class with 4 wins by pin!
