There will be a Wrestling booster club meeting this Thursday night at 6:00 in the jr high gym for any 6th-11th graders interested in wrestling next year. Please bring a parent/guardian.

Super proud of the wrestlers this weekend at the individual state tournament. We started out with 9 boys and 3 girls. We had 3 boys and 1 girl make the podium.

Lyric McIntyre- 7th grader- 100lb- 6th place

Wesley Russell- 9th grader-132lb- 6th place

Harley Johnson- 10th grader- 190lb- 7th place

Weston Cother- 9th grader- 285lb- 6th place

We are proud of the growth of our kids this season. We are also super excited about the future and where the program is heading!

Thank you so much to Green Valley Baptist Church for feeding the three county school wrestling teams last night! The food was great and the message from LD Gillespie was even better.

Pontotoc is extremely blessed to have the church leadership that we do and that was proven last night! Thank you for all you do for our kids!

The boys competed in a tournament at Center Hill today going 4-0 and winning 1st place in the tournament!! Proud of our Warriors

66-16 over Hernando
42-36 over Center Hill
61-17 over New Albany

After a long bus ride to French Camp, your Warrior wrestling team went 2-0 tonight against French Camp and Starkville.

The warriors improve 7-1 (2-1 region) on the season.

We will be back in action next Thursday at North Pontotoc.

On the girls side, we went 1-3. Lyric McIntyre got the lone win. The other 3 matches were very competitive but the lady warriors came up short.
