SANDWICH MAKER NEEDED!
The Ultimate Sandwich Showdown
March 28th 1-4 p.m.
2 ways to participate:
Come join the upper crust challenge as a sandwich creator! Sandwich Creators are allowed access to one electrical plug for any type of sandwich making equipment needed. Creators must make and serve their sandwiches as they choose. Please bring all supplies and whatever you need to hold your sandwich together. There will be a maximum number of guests so you can plan ingredients accordingly. No tacos for this event! The Master of the Melt needs a crown and gets $150 in prize money! $100 for runner-up! Entrance fee is $20 for two people.
Come as a spectator/judge. We need people to vote on the best sandwich. It’s going to be a Wedge War!
We will provide sandwich sides and desserts.
Admission is $25 per person.

Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree October 18th 5-9 p.m.2 ways to participate: Come as an artist. Bring a pumpkin already decorated. The pumpkin must be a real pumpkin, no plastic or foam pumpkins. They can be carved, painted or crafted. We will place the pumpkins in the category once we see them. Please bring your own lights or candles if you intend to light your pumpkin when the sun goes down. There will be a prize for each category, a Finch sculpture, of course! Please arrive by 4:30 so your pumpkin can be placed on display. Come as a spectator/judge. We need people to vote on the best pumpkins in each category. We will have the pumpkins on display before the sun goes down, then the artists that choose to, will light their pumpkins at dusk. We have a new category for respected artists from Michigan! We have invited a number of artists to show their talent by bringing a pumpkin for the professional category. We are very excited about this and can’t wait to see what they come up with.! The band will be jamming! We will provide a soup dinner with hearty sides. We will light the bonfire and have a smore station. The studio and the grounds will open for exploration. Anyone interested in a tour can join us at 6:30pm for a tour. Admission is $35 per person. Pumpkin artists get a discounted price of $25 and a chance to win a Finch sculpture.
