PONTE VEDRA THUNDER OVERVIEW
The Ponte Vedra Thunder Baseball Organization (PV Thunder) is a not-for-profit organization based out of Ponte Vedra, FL (32081 & 32082). The program allows dedicated players to prepare for high school baseball by participating in off-season instructional and training programs. Thunder teams participate in numerous tournaments against high-level travel baseball program

s located throughout the Southeastern United States, both locally and at a variety of nationally recognized tournaments, including Cooperstown All-Star Village, Shipyards, Pigeon Forge, and many more. We are committed to providing safe, fun, and family-oriented baseball instruction and experience from 9U through 14U players in the Ponte Vedra/ St. PONTE VEDRA THUNDER PHILOSOPHY
The program's objective is to teach young athletes how to be leaders, both on and off the baseball field, and to prepare them for high school-level sports programs. Our program stresses teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as dedication and the importance of a strong work ethic.

Calling All Rising 9U Baseball Players!

Looking to Step Up to The Plate And Hone Your Skills With Ponte Vedra Thunder Baseball!?! Then sign up and come out to Cornerstone Park this Sunday, June 28th at 9:00am.

Tryouts are open to all players born after May 1st 2017. There is no cost to try out, but registration is required.

Cornerstone Park is located at 1046 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

**Check will start 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Tryouts will last approximately 1.5-2 hours.**

14U - 8:30 a.m. PVHS Varsity Field

9U - 12U will be held on Sunday, June 28th @
Cornerstone Park - 1046 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

9U - 9:00a.m. Field 1
10U - 9:30a.m. Field 2
11U - 8:30a.m. Field 3
12U - 10:30a.m. Field 3

**Check-in will start 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. All those wishing to participate in tryouts MUST be signed up on the PVAA website before taking the field. No players will be allowed to participate in our tryouts if they have not signed up! **

** Our 2 - 2027 12U Cooperstown Teams will be selected during these tryouts. Additional teams will be formed based on player availability and skill level. **

2026 Fall Tryouts will be held on Saturday, June 27th, and Sunday, June 28th, in Ponte Vedra, FL.

13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U will take place on Saturaday, June 27th at Ponte Vedra High School.

9U, 10U, 11U, 12U will take place on Sunday June 28th at Cornerstone Park in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

Congratulations to our Ponte Vedra Thunder 14U Guzzone team for winning it all in this weekends USSSA-Baseball Space Coast Global NIT.

With the dynamic duo in father/ son coaching from the Guzzone’s, this 14U team is looking to finish this season strong in the coming weeks.

After this season these coaches will be heading back to 13U and looking to bring up the next team of high quality champions on the big field.

Congratulations to our Ponte Vedra Thunder Baseball 14U Cannaday team for winning it all in this weekends Perfect Game USA Memorial Day 🇺🇸 Battle at the Beach right here in Jacksonville.

Keep up the good work boys and keep on rolling! Headed up by coach Tony Cannaday and assisted by coach Bryan Abis. After this season these coaches will be dropping down to take one of our 12U Cooperstown All Star Village teams!
