🏀⚾ PDLA Volunteer Board Applications Are Now Open ⚾🏀

As we continue working to grow and strengthen PDLA for our athletes and families, we are now accepting applications for volunteer board positions for the upcoming term.

At this time, applications are open to parents/guardians of children currently participating in the PDLA program who are interested in helping support and guide the future of our organization.

Serving on the board is an opportunity to have a voice, bring ideas to the table, support our coaches and families, and help ensure we continue providing a positive experience for our youth athletes.

🎉🎂 Happy 61st Birthday, Head Start! 🎂🎉

Last week, Mrs. Nancians' classroom at the Westville Head Start joined in the celebration of Head Start’s 61st Birthday! 🥳💛

For 61 years, Head Start has been helping children and families learn, grow, and succeed. Our students had a wonderful time celebrating this special milestone and learning about what makes Head Start such an important part of our community. 🎈✨

We are proud to be part of a program that has been making a difference in the lives of children and families for generations. Here's to 61 years of learning, laughter, and opportunity—and many more to come! 🌟

🏀PIRATE LIFE BASKETBALL CAMP 🏀

Summer camp full of basketball fundamentals for boys and girls K-8th grades(completed this year)! This camp will be filled with drills, mentorship, fun, and memories with your favorite Pirate athletes!

💵 $35 (camp+shirt+lunch)

🚗 Drop off 15mins before camp time slot!
(Pull through bus loop for drop off/pick up)

⏰ 9am-11:30am

🍽️ 11:35-12:25 LUNCH PROVIDED

⏰ 12:30pm-3pm

💧 BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE

PDLA would like to give a special thank you to Jason and Keisha Powell with The Original Rodeo Dance for their incredibly generous donation of 23 brand new Under Armour batting helmets! 🙌⚾

Because of your generosity, more of our players will have access to quality, safe equipment this upcoming season. Support like this helps us continue to grow and provide the best experience possible for the kids in our community.

⚾️💙 What an amazing t-ball/baseball season! Thank you to all of our players, coaches, parents, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters for helping make this season such a success. From the trophies and medals to the cupcakes and movie night (which was a HUGE hit! 🍿🎬), we made so many great memories together. Thank you for being part of the PDLA family — we’re excited to continue growing and can’t wait for next season! ⚾️🏆
