On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Hall of Fame will pay tribute to the 1979 Point Pleasant Big Blacks Football Team!
The 1979 Big Blacks went UNDEFEATED during the regular season, and we want to bring as many members of this special team back together as possible to celebrate their accomplishments.
🔴⚫ 1979 PLAYERS & FAMILIES ARE CORDIALLY INVITED
There will be a Pre-Game Reception at 6:00 PM in the Big Blacks Football Weight Room for members and families of the 1979 team.
Players will have an opportunity to reconnect with former teammates, register for the recognition ceremony, and prepare to walk across the field together as a team as they are honored by the Hall of Fame.
