It all came together tonight for dad. 6 years ago was the last time dad and I sat together and harvested a deer. Tonight I got the opportunity to go film for dad. No records were broke with this deer but being able to hunt together and harvest a deer is something special and reminds us to rember who took us on our first hunt and taught us a lot of what we know and remember all the memories of the hunts before. All glory to God thankful for the opportunities and being able experience his creation!

October 3, 2025 it all came together for “Splitter”and I. It was 88° out and as luck would have it I’d get to close the book on a deer I’ve had on camera since 2022 and was named Splitter. I have hunted this deer hard the past couple years. He scored 187 4/8 having 46in of complete mass. I am super thankful for my father’s, Jonah Schumacher form and Lane McGraw from for their help. I give all glory to God for giving me the ability to chase these deer!

Super happy with how the plot is looking so far this year. I decided to plant “No BS” & “Comeback Kid” from mixed together. Last year was my first year trying a food plot and I learned a ton and continue to keep learning. Paths are mowed, shooting lanes cleared, cams are out, bow is dialed, now it’s just counting down the days!!!

It all came together last Friday night, a deer called “Pointer” came in to some rattling and the rest is history. Unfortunately he came in so quick and with other deer around wasn’t able to get it on film. Huge shoutout to my father and Colton Metcalf for helping drag and take care of him. Up next gun season!
