The most profound moment of my Camino didn't happen while walking 15 miles uphill.
It happened when I stopped.
Sitting by a river, leaning against the most glorious tree, I felt like I could "write a great novel or compose a symphony." That wasn't about having a specific idea—it was about feeling completely open to possibility. Pure creative potential was welling up inside me.
When we engage all our senses with nature, we step out of the mental loops that keep us stuck. We remember what it feels like to exist without agenda, to feel inspired rather than depleted.
If you're feeling creatively blocked, emotionally drained, or just going through the motions, consider:
• When did you last feel completely open to possibility?
• What happens when you give your nervous system permission to downshift from survival mode?
• How often do you create space for inspiration to well up naturally?
• What if your next innovation requires less forcing and more allowing?
The hardest days sometimes become our favorites—but only when we're brave enough to sit still and receive what they're trying to teach us. I have seen this in action in Deep Coaching sessions and the Camino reinforced this knowing.
