📣 Announcement 📣: Our Banquet Date will have to change. I apologize for this, but in order to make sure we have all materials necessary for our banquet we will need to reschedule our Banquet to April 8th at 6PM. Again apologies!

To all Pleasant Hill Wrestlers: we will be having open mats from 6-7:30PM Mondays and Wednesdays starting this week. This is highly encouraged as we have to continue to get better. Coach Redwine, and others will be in there frequently. Please understand we do not get better just hoping for it to happen…we have to do the work.

If you are friends with wrestlers from other schools/programs and want to invite them please do! We love have more training partners and expanding our wrestling.

We have positioned these workouts at 6pm to accommodate any spring sport athletes. We all get better together!

A couple of announcements:
Our banquet will be March 25th at 6:30PM in the High School Commons.

The Open Mats meeting that was supposed to take place last Friday will instead take place this Thursday March 12th after school in Coach Rentschler’s room. Please let him know if you are unable to make it so he can share that information with you.

That information will also be posted on here and social media following the meeting.

Wrestlers: you still need to continue to sign up and make your exit meetings. These are mandatory for all wrestlers.

And lastly, Victor Schmalz will be competing in the MoKan Dual tomorrow night at Avila university at 6PM. Great idea to go support him one last time! Go team Missouri!!

The youth program has districts this week. With that being said, they will have practices Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm-8pm this week. Try to make some time to get in there for a practice or two. They would love to have you guys in there and they think very highly of you guys. Great opportunity to give back to our community!!

It is Districts Week! The end is near, and this weekend is the big one! Below is our schedule for the week. Parents and wrestlers, its important to be positive, self belief, and trust your training. Cramming right here at the end won't make a huge difference. Its the work you have been putting in that will be show. Pleasant Hill wrestlers tend to shine bright, so this is our time!

2/16: Practice 3-5PM
2/17: Practice 3-4:45PM
2/18: Practice 3-5PM
2/19: Practice 3-4:45PM. Seeding Meeting will be 6:30PM this night. Coach Rentschler will be leaving practice early, Coaches Redwine and Parn will finish practice and dismiss you.
2/20: Arrive to School on time! We will dismiss for Excelsior Springs at 12PM. We will check into hotel in Kearney first. Weigh ins are at 4:30PM. Wrestling Starts at 6PM. We will have 3 rounds of wrestling this night. First round, first round wrestlebacks, and quarterfinals.
2/21: Wake up at 6:30AM. Weigh ins at 8:30AM, Wrestling starts at 10AM. We will start with second round wrestlebacks, and move into semis and 3rd round wrestlebacks. Blood round or 4th round wrestlebacks will start following the conclusion of all semis. At that point the top 4 in each weight class will have been determined.

It is an exciting time for us as we have been working at this all year! Wrestlers and parents we plan on wrestling till the end!
