Weekend Recap ☀️

What a fun weekend! We had a strong showing of UWP athletes from the club at Trek’s Wild Hare gravel race last Saturday, and it was a blast 🐇

Can’t believe UWP Outdoor Adventure Club crushed the 25 miler on a tandem!!

Had to take advantage of the perfect weather again on Sunday for a Club Cafe Ride with some brunch at Badger Brothers Coffee ☕️ Fun weekend with the club!

Interested in joining a group ride? ⬇️

Last week, we kicked off our weekly club rides, and we’re stoked to see some new faces out there! Want to learn more about club activities and upcoming events? Stop by our weekly Thursday meetings at 6 PM in the Bear’s Den (Markee).

Here are some more details on our weekly rides:

🌤️ Club Casual Rides 🌤️
A chill, no-drop group ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Typically out-and-back on the bike path. All bikes are welcome!
🗓️ Mondays @ 5:30 PM
📍 Chess Pieces outside of the Markee

⛏️ The Axe Ride ⛏️
A fast-paced drop ride on an out-and-back route. Riders will regroup at 2 points on the ride.
🗓️ Wednesdays @ 4:30 PM
📍 Momentum Bike Shop

*All rides are weather permitting.

Third year straight heading down to Bentonville for Spring Break, and it somehow keeps getting better 🚴‍♂️

The club enjoyed great trail and road riding, solid weather (for the most part 😅), and some great meals with the team. On the way back, the road guys stopped in St. Louis and wrapped up the week with strong results, with Xander taking 2nd in the crit and Jakob taking 2nd overall in the omnium.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible. Already looking forward to next year 👊
