This is what it’s all about. I’m proud to say I’ve been part of this Organization since day one. We have done some amazing things in the last 10 years. More amazing things to come.
Year 11 began August 1st for us here at Top Gun and it’s been such a rewarding experience. We began with 7 teams, who all brought terrific independent teams together to form Top Gun Academy.
After 10 years as an organization, we have evolved a bit, but maintained the foundation of the program that was laid in 2016. What began as 7 teams from Missouri (6 Missouri / 1 Kansas), is now 41 teams from several different states. In addition, since the start of our national program, we also have had players compete with us from 26 different states.
Through it all, it’s been so much fun seeing the success of all of our terrific kids and organizational teams, who have achieved many great things on the diamond.
As of today, the organization is inching closer towards our 400th commit to play collegiate softball, including two more who just committed on September 1st. The excitement the kids and families have when they choose their collegiate home never gets old.
September always brings the fun of a lot of new; our graduating seniors that are now collegiate freshman in new surroundings, new coaches as players age up, new players joining the org, new teams coming aboard, and new opportunities for recruiting aged kids.
What isn’t new is how proud we are of everyone involved with Top Gun Fastpitch and how much we appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of the journey for so many outstanding human beings.
