2034 Missouri Stars (Kissick) entered the BigtymersHoops End of the Road Championships this past weekend.

We welcomed two new players at the start of the season, and it didn’t take long for them to become part of the family. Every practice, every game, and every challenge helped this group grow stronger together.

They finished the season exactly how they earned it—with a Championship and an incredible 22-2 win with only 6 players! 🏆

I’m beyond proud of these girls. Their work ethic, hustle, willingness to learn, and commitment to each other. Success like this doesn’t happen by chance—it comes from showing up, working hard, and believing in one another.

What a season. What a team. ❤️🏀

WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE SUMMER! 🔥

The 2034 Missouri Stars traveled to Oklahoma City for the MAYB National Tournament, where 32 teams came ready to compete — and our girls proved they belonged with the best of them!

After battling through some of the toughest competition they faced all summer, the Stars fought their way to an incredible 7TH-PLACE FINISH OUT OF 32 TEAMS! ⭐️💪

TOP 7 ON THE NATIONAL STAGE! 🔥

What makes us even more proud is how much this group has grown throughout the summer. Every tournament, every practice, every tough game and every challenge helped prepare them for this moment.

And they showed that the 2034 Missouri Stars are just getting started!

⭐🏀 MISSOURI STARS BATTLE AT OKC MAYB NATIONALS

The 2033 and 2032 Missouri Stars traveled to Oklahoma City this past weekend to compete in the MAYB Oklahoma City Nationals, and both teams faced plenty of hurdles and adversity along the way.

Our 2033 Missouri Stars were dealt an incredibly tough pool, loaded with some of the top teams in the country — including the team that eventually won the entire tournament. It definitely wasn’t the luckiest draw, and after a tough pool play, the girls finished fourth in their pool and were sent to the Division I Consolation Bracket.

But that didn’t stop them.

These girls regrouped, competed, and fought their way all the way to the championship game. Even better, they got another shot at one of the teams from their pool that had beaten them badly in the first matchup. This time was a completely different story. Our girls knew they were better than what they showed the first time, and they proved it — battling that same team to the very end and coming up just short in a close championship game.

The 2033 Stars finished 14th out of 48 teams, and we couldn’t be prouder of the fight, toughness, and resilience they showed. 💪⭐

Our 2032 Missouri Stars came out firing, going 3-0 in pool play and taking first place in their pool! Unfortunately, after driving six hours to compete against teams from across the country, our first bracket matchup ended up being against another great Kansas City team we know very well — a team we had just played the weekend before in the championship of another national tournament.

The girls battled, but came up just five points short, ending their run and giving the 2032 Stars an impressive 9th-place finish out of 64 teams!

Sometimes the bracket doesn’t fall the way you hope, but that’s tournament basketball. You compete against whoever is put in front of you and learn from every opportunity.

I’ve seen so much growth, chemistry, toughness, and trust develop within both of these groups throughout this summer session. There are plenty of things we’ll continue to work on, but there is also a lot to be excited about.

They were also able to tour the OU Woman's basketball facility and that fired the girls up!

Now it’s time to get back in the gym this offseason, sharpen our skills, get stronger, and prepare to take another step forward when the winter session arrives.

Proud of you, ladies! Keep working and keep believing in each other.

🏀⭐ MISSOURI STARS TAKE ON OKC NATIONALS! ⭐🏀

The Missouri Stars Basketball Club took four teams to what we consider our end-of-the-summer March Madness — the MAYB Oklahoma City Nationals!

This is one of the biggest youth basketball tournaments of the summer, bringing teams from all over the country to Oklahoma City at the end of July/beginning of August. Every year, some of the best and top-ranked teams in the country show up, making it a great opportunity to find out where your teams and your club truly stand against high-level competition.

And that’s exactly why we go.

Tournaments like this teach you so much. You find out what you do well, what needs work, and where you need to continue developing. But just as important are the memories these girls make off the court — traveling together, hanging out at the hotel, laughing, having fun, and simply getting to be kids with their teammates.

Those moments matter. The more these girls know, trust, and care about one another off the court, the stronger they become together on it. 💛🖤

And we couldn’t be prouder of how our Stars represented!

⭐ 2034 | 4th Grade — 7th out of 32 teams

We came home proud, but also hungry. We know what we need to work on, and we know there’s another level waiting for these girls.

What an incredible weekend for the Missouri Stars Basketball Club at the MAYB Olathe Girls North Nationals at Blue Hawk Sports Complex!

We couldn’t be more proud of every player, coach, and family who represented our club with class, toughness, and heart.

🏀 2036 Missouri Stars (2nd Grade)
In just their first tournament together after only a couple of months as a team, these young ladies brought home a 2nd-place finish! The potential this group has is unbelievable, and we can’t wait to watch them continue to grow, build chemistry, and develop into future champions.

🏀 2035 Missouri Stars (3rd Grade)
Our third-grade group battled through some outstanding competition to earn a 4th-place finish. They never backed down, stayed competitive in every game, and showed the grit and determination that defines Missouri Stars basketball.

🏀 2034 Missouri Stars (4th Grade)
Facing another talented field, our fourth graders fought their way to a 3rd-place finish. After a tough semifinal loss, they responded the right way and finished the weekend on a high note, representing the Missouri Stars with pride.

While we’re proud of the trophies and the finishes, what makes this club truly special goes far beyond wins and losses.

The culture we’ve built together is something we’re incredibly proud of. Our players support one another, our coaches pour their hearts into every practice and game, and our parents create an environment that allows these girls to thrive. Seeing every Missouri Stars team cheering each other on throughout the weekend is what this club is all about.

The growth of this program over the past two years has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s because of every player, coach, and family who has bought into our vision.

Thank you for believing in what we’re building and for everything you do to help these young athletes become better basketball players and, more importantly, better people.

The 2033 Missouri Stars took the court this past weekend at the MAYB Olathe Girls North Nationals at Blue Hawk Sports Complex with a challenge right from the start. Missing key members of our team, we entered the tournament with only six players.

Most teams would have seen that as an excuse. Our girls saw it as an opportunity.

Knowing our style of play is built on pushing the pace, relentless defense, and giving maximum effort every possession, we knew the weekend would test not only our skill but also our conditioning, toughness, and mental strength.

These girls answered the call.

They battled through every game, never backed down, and finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record. Played against a well structured and well coached Kansas Triple Threat team in the championship. With the title on the line and a one-point game in the closing moments, our girls showed exactly what Missouri Stars basketball is all about. They stayed disciplined, trusted one another, executed when it mattered most, and found a way to finish—even with tired legs after two grueling days of basketball.

I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Their heart, resilience, and commitment to each other were on full display all weekend long. They continue to compete at the highest level every time they step on the floor, and they represented the Missouri Stars Club with class, toughness, and pride.

Congratulations, girls, on another championship and an unforgettable weekend.

The 2032 Missouri Stars returned to the MAYB Olathe Girls North Nationals in Olathe, Kansas, as the defending champions, and these girls proved once again why they belong at the top.

After an incredible 6-0 weekend, they battled their way to the championship game, where they faced the #1-ranked team in Kansas City, a program that has held that title for several years and has always been one of our toughest competitors.

The championship game came down to the final moments, with the Missouri Stars earning a hard-fought one-point victory to successfully defend their title.

A huge shoutout and mad respect to Prep Hoops Academy 2032. Every time we meet on the court, they bring their absolute best, and this game was no different. It was an unbelievable atmosphere and exactly what championship basketball is all about.

I couldn’t be more proud of our girls. They played with heart, toughness, composure, and complete belief in one another. Watching them rise to the moment and bring another championship home to the Missouri Stars Club is something they’ll never forget.

These girls continue to prove that hard work, dedication, and team-first basketball pay off.
