Job Title: Videographer & Content Creator (Part-Time / Contract)
Location: Southern New Hampshire & Surrounding Areas
Organization: Seacoast Hockey Officials (SHO)
Position Overview:
Seacoast Hockey Officials (SHO) is seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Content Creator to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. This individual will be responsible for capturing high-quality video and photo content at various officiating seminars, training sessions, games, and promotional events throughout Southern New Hampshire and occasionally beyond. This role is key to helping us elevate our brand presence and showcase the professionalism, training, and impact of SHO across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Film and photograph live-action footage at officiating seminars, hockey games, and other SHO events.
* Capture behind-the-scenes content, official interviews, testimonials, and educational footage for training and marketing use.
* Edit raw footage into compelling promotional and instructional videos.
* Work closely with SHO leadership to align video/photo content with brand strategy and messaging.
* Organize and catalog all digital media assets for easy access and future use.
* Provide creative input and storytelling ideas that reflect SHO’s values, professionalism, and growth.
* Travel to event locations primarily within Southern New Hampshire, with occasional needs in the greater New England region.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a videographer and/or photographer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Own and operate professional-grade video and photography equipment.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with officials, staff, and clients.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
- A passion for sports, especially hockey, is highly preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly or per-project rate based on experience. Travel reimbursement available for select events.
